  1. I see what you're saying but it's a bike with a motor in it so it's a motorbike. Might be a crappy one but it's still a motorbike
  2. Speeders like you only deserve 5hp
  3. It will be interesting to see how things go in the future. Bikes are light weight. They need relatively small batteries. The small batteries should have short charge times. Cars on the other hand are heavy and need big batteries that take longer to charge. Bikes could become more practical than cars for a lot of people. It could lead to a big increase in bikers.
  4. Now that you say it I think you're right, it does look like a piece of rubber.
  5. Facebook has killed off most bike forums. I'm glad this one is active. Even if half the posts are gifs, spelling corrections and rigged polls.
  6. The threads on the mirror and the threads on the handlebars are different size. You can drill and tap the handlebars to match the mirrors or you can get different mirrors with the correct size threads for your handlebars.
  7. Yeah could be a kinked fuel line or a blocked fuel filter or blocked fuel tap or kinked breather line. To check if it's the breather you could open the fill cap and listen if air rushes in when you open it or check does the bike run better with it open. If it does it's the breather that's the problem. Air has to be able to get into the tank when fuel is pumped out. If the air can't get in it restricts the flow of fuel. If it's not the breather you could disconnect the fuel line going to the carbs and put it into a bottle and turn the bike on and check if you're getting good flow out of the pump.
  8. I think that's the manual for your bike https://www.dealerinfo.net/newsitems/DERBE/DERBE_19627_Wmanualsenda1254t2005y.pdf Based on that manual I think your bike is DC CDI so it needs a charged battery to have spark so I agree with @Mississippi Bullfrog the place to start is charge your battery or jump start it off another battery. The battery is very small capacity, only 6Ah so it wouldn't take long to discharge it. When the bike is running check the voltage across the battery. It should be around 13V. The speedo is mechanical. Page 135. You could disconnect the cable from the back of the dash and spin the front wheel, check if the cable turns when you spin the wheel. If it doesn't the cable could be broken or the gear in the front wheel could be broken. The only thing on the dash that's electrical is the neutral light, indicators light, main beam light and the tachometer. Check if they are all working after you charge your battery. The speedo is mechanical not electrical. All that is based on that manual. If it's the wrong manual for your bike ignore what I said.
  9. It's normal for that style pump to make a clicking noise when running. The clicking is the contact points opening and closing. Have a look on Youtube if you want to hear other ones running.
  10. Stihl and Husqvarna are top quality pro level saws. If there was a nuclear war all that would survive would be the cockroaches and Stihl MS saws. But I'd agree with @Bender for chopping a few logs now and then a cheapo electric or even a decent hand saw should do the job.
  11. Just as a general rule if it cuts out suddenly with no warning, as if you had pressed the kill switch I'd be thinking spark related electrical problem. If it's a more gradually splutter and then dies, probably fuel related. I would get an inline spark tester and the next time it cuts out check if it has spark. You can get them for a few pounds on ebay. They let you test the spark without removing the spark plug.
  12. How about the reason being someone thought it would be funny. A bit of a laugh and joke. Not everything has to be taken seriously. Twat of the year poll is one of those things. Hopefully first prize was a sense of humour
  13. @Six30 if you want to regain your title you better start correcting people's spelling and grammar
  14. Ah you're just bitter because @raesewell is twice the twat you are
  15. @raesewell Do you feel you've been unfairly criticised or can you see why people voted for you?
  16. Well done for sticking with it With the current situation I've become more interested in exercise and eating well. I'm following this exercise routine that only uses body weight, no equipment needed. I printed off the pdf. I find if I follow their plan and keep track of the repetitions I'm doing I'm more motivated to keep at it. https://csclub.uwaterloo.ca/~rfburger/royal-marine-commando-7-exercises.pdf
  17. I still think @Six30 is the biggest twat here so he gets my vote
  18. The people of Brum have come out in force in this election. Their rally cries heard through out the streets. We shall not, we shall not be moved. We shall not, we shall not be move. @raesewell is a twat, we shall not be moooved
  19. Lets have a look at who's voted what's this....Dave in Brum, Phil in Brum, Mary in Brum, John in Brum. Nothing suspicious here
  20. How many of the @raesewell votes are from @James in Brum burner accounts?
  21. @XTreme There's definitely something wrong with the poll. I voted for myself at least 6 times and I've still only got 1 vote
  22. That threesome should have guaranteed he got at least two votes
