Leaking fibreglass tank

get one made in alloy using current tank as pattern as fibreglass tanks are now illegal for road use i think -
its just been announced that netflix missed out on the trio who were top gear and amazon has signed them up to its prime service which will cost £75 a year to watch i wont be paying it but do hope it makes it onto youtube and such for free viewing after a while

trouble is no one lists the exhausts for this year bike any more not original or pattern part

it will also matter if the conviction is now classed as spent (i had criminal conviction which was spent after 2 years so no longer needs to be admitted to by me) in which case you shouldnt need to declare it unless they ask have you EVER been in trouble in which case i would say get it out in the open put it on the forms and see whats said,also if you are worrying about putting it on shotgun licence what did you tell your insurance company when they ask have you got any NON MOTORING criminal convictions?

the original exhaust system has a spark arrester built into it just between the pipe coming out of the engine and the silencer itself its normally part of the silencer but i havent seen an exhaust of any kind for sale for a lot of years now for the early xt like yours you might have to just make something fit with big hammer and angle grinder

result mind you it did keep half the warehouse staff at bmw in employment for a while ther ewill be mass redundancy there now that its all sorted glad its finally behaving tho

they say the bad days come inlike the 3rd or 4th day then drifts off again untill the 3rd or 4th week then drifts off again untill 3rd or 4th month each time normally just a one day craving i didnt bother with vaping or anything just went cold turkey i found that was the best way and keep a pencil nearby to twiddle about in your fingers when the craving hits

i know how the op feels ive not bothered with my bike at all so far this year in fact its only done 40 miles since sept last year and wont do many more than that this year so will get mot on it this week maybe then who knows what the future holds but i do know if i do sell it then my days of 2 wheels will be over unless i end up with some cheap old ratty thing that can rot away in the shed instead

coils and reg/reg have a history of failing on the xj models coil will break down once warm and reg/rec will fit and work as its wants or doesnt want at the time and will overheat,check condition of plug from reg as well where it connects to main loom it might be burned up inside

have you check the condition of the air filter as it might be blocked take the spark plug out and check the colour of the tip it should be a browny colour light tan is to weak black is to rich also as it cuts out and stops open fuel cap and see if it hisses as air rushes in as that will point to tank breather blocked

i would start by checking the earths to the indicators and the connection to the relay as it sounds like its pulling a wire tight to the point of almost breaking when bars are turned one way

delete the email its a scam in fact its one of the oldest in the book you give them your paypal they then hack it and clean out anything you got in there and have access to your linked bank account -
put the money u spend on smoking away in a tin and you will soon be bale to afford to do tests and have a bigger bike out of the money saved from not smoking (in theory anyway in my case the mrs just spend more once i stopped)

i found it easier to just stop when i gave up i tried all sorts of things to help in the end i just put a cigarette out one night and said thats it ive stopped smoking,i was on 20+ a day untill that evening i still had half a packet left which i gave away and not touched one in the 4 1/2 years since putting the last one out didnt use any artificial help at all

do you mean it will only run while being pushed or will run on its own for a short while once you stop bumping it? -
yes it should fit will both be 12volt might be bigger in lens diameter ask seller to measure size of lens and compare it to the one he has left on the bike,yo could buy a pair for the rear so they match at the back each side of the bike

will depend on if its cable or electronic my harley is electronic and the sensor is stuck on brake disc with pickup attached to fork leg

nice one glad its all sorted now just remember to carry a spare fuse in case it blows while your out on a ride so it doesn't leave you stranded anywhere
