  1. Rightly or wrongly I usually use the sharps website and some £300 helmets score less than a £60 helmet when it comes to safety only not any of the others bits like wind flow ,. Aerodynamic etc
  2. What's a joke is it'll cost me £12.50 to ride my bike to the biggest pollutant in London... Heathrow airport!
  3. Just put your number plate Into the website https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/check-your-vehicle/
  4. After watching some of the TT I was thinking of taking the family on a day out to brands hatch on the sat 23rd July Firstly is it worth it ? Was just gonna take the missus and all the kids ranging from 5-15 Any advice warmly received Thanks

  6. Good luck my journey consisted of 2 CBT 1 mod 1 and 3 mod 2 before I finally passed! Well worth the grand it cost me before I even bought my bike ! But now I ride everyday and love it best thing I ever done...after getting married and kids n all that obviously
  7. I think one was for doing the biggest figure of 8 on earth and one was for going a bit slow on the ride up to the speed trap. didn’t find mod 2 particularly easy either but passed in the end thank fook !
  8. I think my mod 1 was 2 days So a full day then test next morning Maybe not the slalom but the figure of 8 was hard when you've never really done it before and I think it's just tje whole experience of never having sat on a 200kg 600cc bike before and then doing all that nerves get you aswell...I did pass 1st time mind but had 3 or 4 minors I also practiced on my 125 before and it was no comparison, may aswell have been doing it on my bicycle
  9. All I do know is you've gotta wear a helmet !
  10. Not sure I know if the abs engaged in mine tbh
  11. I passed my mod 1 last summer and imo it's not as easy as some make out esp as you've likely had about 6/7 hours of practice at most. I recall with no pleasure at all the turn your head and the bike will follow whilst trying the slalom time and time again or your shakiness whilst doing the u turn Even the manual handling wasn't easy as the feckin thing weighs like 200kg and I'm a fairly slim 10'7 bloke. I'm just glad to never ever have to do a figure of 8 again To hear someone who's not done it saying it's easy is proper weird !
  12. Knowing the mod 2 route Def would have helped me although usually the instructors take you out there the day before and on the day I failed at mitcham as I didn't realise we'd turned into a 1 way street so when we turned right at the end of the road I wasn't positioned over to the right , had I known that road maybe I'd not have made that same error
  13. I started on a 600 90bhp Fazer and it's perfect for me although the only problem I have is moving it sometimes as I find it bloody heavy and supposedly it's not even a heavyweight!
  14. Theory passed ? Mod 1 was a days training then test next day after a practice in the AM Mod 2 was a days riding and same thing next morning My school was £300 a day but I live in the south east
  15. I rode a 125 for a year and found it Def helped me gain confidence.also apart from insurance you won't lose any money on a second hand Japanese bike either
  16. Same I can't drink any of that Pepsi Max and all that gross
  17. I always take mine off even at pay at pump as tbh I'm glad for the fresh air
  18. Why is there a bit of a comedy feel to HD riders ? In America they seem to be the dogs trollox but here they seem a bit of a laugh....before I passed my test I always wanted one but tbh not anymore
  19. Now he's talking about expanding the ulez to all London boroughs wonder if it's worth me having the coc thing through Yamaha for my 01 fz6 as I drive into a London borough everyday and would have to sell it otherwise
