I also have a cheap sim card that pings me an SMS every 30 seconds if it moves out of a designated area, & my bike is stored in a shipping container with 2 abloy locks - #paranoia However whilst i am out on the road, due diligence is the key, & not being further than earshot/eyesight from your bike. And would i stop a thief/thieves? Depends on how many, and what they are carrying.

The one i link too mentioned TLT2 in its description, maybe it was rebranded due to its success? From what I read £20 can last a year, depending on how many updates. Mine arrives today but the SIM most probably tomorrow, so ill hook it up & feedback.

I've been looking at security options when out playing/commuting & lugging a 16mm 2m 3kg chain with a padlock on a naked is not my idea of fun; although having my bike nicked isn't of course. However, it got me thinking, my storage space under the seat is limited, but I can easily fit an Abloy 362 underneath, then when stationary just attach it to the rear sprocket, make sense? A lot stronger, safer than an oxford disc lock etc & simple to attach, remove. Any thoughts on why this is a bad idea?

Keep an eye out for the Aprilia's

Tescos in Rochdale at 8 am. Then it's on to meet with lads in Preston at the Tickled trout (at 9-ish). Then it's on from there to Devils for 10. From there, it's a spin round near the lakes and possibly Penrith.
