Knee support?
hammer5 replied to iiisecondcreep's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
No good for a tight bend in the knee, tbh I'd say you'd be lucky to find something with support & freedom to move in the way you will need to. For cartilage damage; pain killers and as little movement as possible as so not to anger the injury. Maybe pack some cold treatment spray to take with you? -
I'm going to pondorosa at some point this year, not managed it yet. Upload the video, might of been us lol

Southport Promenade. Evening meet up's, Martini Time
hammer5 replied to hammer5's topic in North West Rideouts and Meets
Any night just keep it open ended. -
Since we in the NW are a bunch of non sociable animals, i was thinking while the weather is turning for the best, we could have a central meeting point on an evening, after work. So i was thinking about Southport's Promenade & if you are finishing work and fancy a meet, pop your name down and say what time you are expected etc etc etc. Might work, might not but hey, it's not just for weekends

I can't find anything (not that i could be bothered doing an indepth search) but these figures cover 2009' - pretty obvious it's a certain age group. I wonder IF they call scooter deaths biker deaths? They must do i suppose, but how many times do you see some chav on a scooter, no safety gear etc etc "Among car users, the number of deaths fell by 20% year-on-year to 842. A total of 405 pedestrians were killed, down 19%, while 403 motorcyclists died, a 15% drop from 2009." http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-new ... 17972.html

The landlady was certainly upset by the continuing abuse from the police, and it was affecting her trade. But I suppose there were enough pedal cyclists there to tick her over, suppose we will see if she is still there in two years. There was a few B roads we used but the roads were a little precarious, far too much winter rubble in the roads, and that's not including the snow that was still about. The roads were notorious for accidents and i suppose the police had to do something, but by lowering the speed to 50 in the whole area imo has killed my enjoyment, well until the age I ride a cruiser... Up North for me, well if you draw a physical line from Bootle - Manchester - Rotherham - across; the roads are good & free from the soul destroying "in it to win it" police, allowing us to enjoy the roads and the freedom. R.I.P Cat & Fiddle.

Hope he gets well soon m8. We got to Macclesfield, Buxton, matlock & some unknown B roads, trying to bypass the boys in blue... Not bothering with that part of the country from now on, unless it's a special meet, far too many cameras, coppers etc. + Sorry mate, I did go steady so you could keep up
-
Great ride again, great to meet up with you all again, irrespective of the police littering the roads. Where to next peeps? North lol
-
Well they've ruined the peak district Average speed cameras, mobile speed cameras, vans & police cars, marked & unmarked, not including the dodgy looking bikers. Beautiful dry sunny day forced to ride at 50mph all the way.. Up North for me from now on, I bought s bike for fun not for cruising.

Money grabbing ......@!!.. Seriously common sense, riding switched on, defensively & aggressively will stop you making mistakes & suffering the consequences. Ride 1100000% switched on & alert.
