Never had a problem at the QE2 bridge on M25. Gotta pay toll on internet, but not difficult. Head down M20 to Ashford and head SW on A28 to my place in Northiam, or use jct 5 A21 to Flimwell and turn left onto A268. Can use M25 SW sector, avoiding river, depending on where you're coming from.

I'm in Northiam, near Hastings. Gimme a shout?

Can't easily move shed, but it is a steel painted , bolt together one so maybe. Bike lift works OK, but chrome on hydraulic cylinder is damaged. Yes unless someone making the journey anyway, too costly to post. Anybody welcome to spend the weekend here if they think it's worth the trip ?

A small Boxford lathe, 185 amp MIG welder with Argon bottle, 14" chop saw, bandsaw, polishing gear, loads of tools, Halfords tool box, bike lifts, oodles of stuff. Yes everything is for sale mate. Any house contents worth selling, all the contents of two garages and two big sheds and of course all my bikes. These include in order of sellability; VFR400NC30, CBR600F2, ER5, RRW Fireblade streetfighter, VN750 in bits, GSX1100 dragbike chassis, GSX1100ET roadbike and my present roadbike , a XVS1300 Midnight Star.

Finally getting my 4 bedroomed house ready for sale and selling all of my bikes and possessions. The reason being, I'm going to Australia and New Zealand. Spending July and August with my eldest daughter in Australia and then flying to New Zealand for a few months. Hoping that they may let me stay in NZ, but looking unlikely as I'm an old fart and don't have a huge amount of money. I may start a bike related business if they let me though. Would be nice to meet as many of you as possible before I leave Heathrow on June 28th.

I will try my best to do this as it will probably be my last chance to meet most of you. Selling my house in April , so could be a problem.

Some brill roads down here and I may join you for some of them. Only me at my big house , so you're welcome to stay over if you want. I'm about 12 miles north of hastings, on A28. I'll post some routes up if you get serious about heading my way.

I'm guessing that the chain didn't go slack overnight or during the period when it wasn't being ridden? May be a good idea if you check the tension more regularly , then you can order new C&S in good time?

Just need to plan ahead mate. I'm sure there's maps of most of the petrol stations in the highlands and opening times.
