  1. Depends if you can't do it yerself? If you can, I have several pairs of Renthals and some Bandit bars. Nice levers can be had for £10 to £150
  2. Mate! please, please, please, buy a manual !!! Look at the nice pictures AND READ IT !!!!
  3. If it's there at tickover and goes at higher revs, it's usually the clutch or resonance. Could be your air filter box rubbing against your tank. Have a look, put a towel or similar under tank and try it again?
  4. Does sound a bit like resonance to me.
  5. Could be starter gear rollers not withdrawing fully. Try stabbing the starter button again when it's running, but don't hold it on. Could just be resonance from another metallic part. Try holding revs at different speeds. Could be yer horn vibrating with the engine? Can you post a video with good sound?
  6. Yeah well done for having a go. As long as the rivet pins are mushroomed over just slightly, you should be OK. Dunno why it wouldn't self centre unless the actual G clamp part of the tool is bent??? I usualy finish off with the two hammer method , but I'll probably get slagged off for even mentioning it on this thread
  7. Great to hear that you guys enjoyed it. Hope to see you at Snetterton or Brands next year ???
  8. If someone has a kit that works and can post dimensions, I can copy it for a lot less money and cash for the provider???
  9. Thanks Alex I understand it's a Bandit 600, they are known for rotting out link pipes and manifolds. Drain, need better pix and accurate dimensions. You have a PM . Gimme a bell?
  10. Something has broken or come undone mate. Don't ride it until you find out why. If necessary, take it off and put it back on?
  11. I can make you a new joining piece from 304 stainless if you supply drawings and accurate dimensions?
  12. RIP Marco, a great rider and character. Thoughts also to Colin and Valentino.
  13. When you are called out to the track Neil, try to stay at the back when you set off. Ignore all the other riders and just ride at your own pace. If available ask if an instructor/marshal will follow you around and show you the right lines. Most of all enjoy. I am always at the back in the novices group but still have an ear to ear smile for the rest of the week.
  14. You will need a small number of spanners anyway mate. Adjusting the chain is regular , essential maintenance, which should be done BEFORE a long journey. I'm certain that, someone will lend you the tools, IF YOU ASK. Get it done NOW, before you have a major problem on that long homeward journey.
  15. Don't need a gas torch anywhere near your bike . Just borrow a spanner or large mole grips to hold the other end of spindle and a length of steel tube to slide over your spanner to increase the leverage.
  16. Always buy a chain and sprocket kit, sprockets much cheaper this way. DID Gold X ring is the best
  17. What Stu said, rebuild calipers with Red rubber grease to prevent stiction.
  18. No, post some pix and await advice!!!
  19. Should be ok mate.
  20. Disconnect brake rod from rear brake lever on wheel. Try lever, does it return by itself? If not, strip brake mechanism, clean and rebuild. Does foot brake lever return? If not, you guessed it. Refit rod and adjust until brake bites at correct depression of foot lever.
  21. Good man, buy or borrow a digital caliper for measuring.
  22. Dunno mate, depends on complexity. Need some accurate dimensions to see what I have in stock. Around £30 plus postage?
  23. I can make you an adaptor mate.
  24. Good point Bob, won,t mention the 08-11 Blades then.
