  1. Yes. This is one from my blog about my former career and how two police officers saw the same thing https://rogerthepoliceman.wordpress.com/2016/07/17/ghost-story/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  2. Met Office weather prediction is to be thunder and lightening on Thursday when I arrive and then fine for the rest of the weekend. I still meed to pack and find my costume.
  3. My routine 1 - Muck Off 2 - WD40 on the really greasy parts, agitate with an old toothbrush 3 - Sponge and soapy water. The spong gets very greasy quickly, so I use 50p ones from Halfords and change them regularly 4 - blow dry to get rid of all of the water out the various nooks and crannies. 5 - Autoglym Show Shine for the plastics and top up with ACF50 if required. 6 - do the chain as its own job, degrease with WD40 and a rag/toothbrush and then lube with your chosen product.
  4. I have heard footsteps walk down a corridor but no one was there. I know of very credible rational people who have seen and heard ghostly happenings. So I am in the camp of there is something going on, we just do not know for sure what. I kind of hope there ghosts as that means there is a form of existence after death. The TV programme the Living and The Dead has a very clever take on ghosts, I wont say how because that would spoil it, but if you have not watched it, I would highly recommend it.
  5. I use it as well. Absolute bargain. Just be careful when you spray, as it comes out at some force and I got it back in my face the first time I used it
  6. Rock on next weekend
  7. I will not even try and keep up with now you have a big bike!
  8. I'll protect you. I come from the frozen north beyond the wall.
  9. What tag(s) are on the ride out?
  10. Happy birthday
  11. The chap who bought my KLE500 and flew from Stanstead to Glasgow to collect it was made to put his helmet in the hold because he could apparently use it as a weapon It was Ryanair.
  12. My name is wrong anyway Changed
  13. My t-shirt will be a 2014 Lower Lode one.
  14. I am going down on the Thursday the 4th, booked in to camp that night and will go out and do some tags as others arrive on the Friday.
  15. Probably because it is Oxford. Parked in a garage is the main security. There would be no harm in contacting them to say you have increased security.
  16. Get something that is on the list of recognised locks when you insure the bike. Anything Sold Secure or Thatcham rated should be there. Unknown products will not help with insurance.
  17. Throttled

    New Top Gear

I agree that the remaining presenters should reshuffle and let Matt, Sabine and Eddie do the silly stuff and the other two the serious car reviews.
  18. Spada does completely waterproof over jackets and trousers for £60. You could go down that route and keep the armoured stuff you already have.
  19. You must be shattered! But so worth it.
  20. It didn't work for me either.
  21. What if I am on my own, I will only have the bike and number or if the tag is a walk from the bike only the number, what then I put my number next to the Steve Hislop statue and photographed it. It shows I have at least been to that tag with my number. I also had photos to show I was doing tags with my bike in the same area on the same day. Where it is reasonable to believe a bike was ridden to get the number to the tag, you get the points. If people start only posting their number with no sign of bike at any of the tags, then points may not be awarded. I score on the principle that you are being honest unless it can be shown otherwise.
  22. You have not mentioned the air filter. Has that been changed?
  23. Scoremaster points ruling. The scores stand because of the precedent set in previous years where you did not have to get your bike to certain tags, such as the Steve Hislop statue in Hawick. It was reached by path through a park. That got points for anyone who got their tag number to it. There was no disputing I had ridden there because either side were photos of my bike with its tag elsewhere in the borders. There is no dispute Hoggs etc were on their bikes doing the pubs. I also take the point about one person holding another's tag because the other took the photo. That is a sensible and reasonable precedent to set.
