The nob of the day, well more last night is the person who poured paint stripper on the side of a relatives car which I had borrowed and was parked over night outside the house. I would have preferred it if our car had been done instead. No one else had their car touched, so why me!!!!!!!

If you are having real issues with eye strain you can get glasses and even visors with a yellow tint. They make all lights look like yellow street lights and do not dazzle. I don't ride so much in the dark as I used to, but when I did I would wear them.

therein lies the possible answer to this problem, I have just read that the wheels on the YBR were changed.. from 'tubed' to tubeless. the changeover happened (apparently) in 2007. is it possible that the bike has the wrong tyres fitted? or is lacking tubes.. when these 'should' be fitted? Maybe. I associate tubed tyres with spoked wheels due to the difficulty getting an airtight seal.

The sealant stuff is fine when your tyre has an inner tube.

Turn it one way and you will hear the revs at idle rise, turn it the other and the revs should fall. You want about 1500 at tick over.

Some STP winter fuel treatment will help to clean it up inside and get rid of any water. My KLE500 (same engine) was running rough after a summer of not doing much. A small splash of the fuel treatment (a bottle does 60l) and it has been fine since.

It has vents, holes for the chain, a built in strap for underneath the bike and a heat proof section at the back. It is also totally waterproof. It may not last as long as more expensive ones (that I have not tested) but that is because it is so cheap. The fabric feels as thick as the other Oxford and R&G I have used, so it may well last as long as they did.

I camped at the Dolau Inn, Mochdre, basic but very cheap (£5 a night off season and since I ate in the pub) and centrally located near Newtown. Generally the roads are great, the A5 through Snowdonia was a great ride, as was up Hellfire Pass (Bwlch y Groes).

I have a neighbour who was already parking his bike outside his house, which meant riding a long a pavement to get to it. He would also work on his bike outside. So when I started to do the same thing there was no issue. All the neighbours know our bikes mean two more car parking spaces in the communal car park. In the morning coast down the pavement and start the bike as I am leaving the car park.

The cable end would not fit through into the water proof case so as to be able to charge the phone.

I added a USB charger so I could use my phone as a sat nav. It is definitely wired in correctly because I got someone else to do it The problem is that when the sat nav is on, the phone battery will eventually go flat after about 3 hours of use from a fully charged phone. If I do not use the sat nav the phone will charge from flat to 100% with no problems. Is that normal with a usb charger, or have I got a duff one?
