  1. Not sure if there's a formal meet......but the cafe at Krazy Horse Customs is a popular biker meeting place......
  2. Welcome to TMBF mate...... I'm sure there's some of the guys up that way that'll be happy to meet up and head out for rideouts.......I see you've posted in the rideout section, so it's likely you'll hear from someone pretty soon......
  3. The court will not be interested in their differences, they're adults and can deal with it themselves....but the court will be interested in the kids. They will make a decision based on the kids welfare and wellbeing. Doesn't matter who did what, they will only be interested in making sure the kids have a roof over their head and are cared for. Grounds for divorce are just that.....reasons for the court to annull the marriage......maintenance and distribution of any assets will be made to ensure the kids are provided for.
  4. Search eBay for Link Pipe.....you may find something suitable on there.......
  5. I don't think there's any differentiation in the CBT between geared and non-geared bikes.......Bonniebird's daughter did the CBT on a twist and go moped and then got a CG125 when she was 17......all on the same CBT.....
  6. Yeah, you need to be checking your tyre pressures regularly......you have 2 patches of rubber about the size of your palms which is keeping you on the road.......and those patches will only work efficiently of they're the right shape, which is largely dependant on correct tyre pressures.....
  7. I'd be going back to the Honda garage that serviced your bike and ask them to replace the chain FOC as they misadjusted it on the service....
  8. Like Shorty says.......one of the guys I know bought a secondhand seat and screwed a top box mount to the pillion position......he uses it for touring, so when he's going off on a jount somewhere he puts the seat with the top box mount on his bike and heads off...... An alternative backpack..... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lomo-Dry-Bag-Da ... B00E8JFT4G But I'd avoid using a backpack for prolonged periods of time on the bike.....
  9. C'mon guys......I can understand barcud's concern here......last thing you need is the bike dumping it's oil all over the rear tyre and then seizing...... Not saying your solution wouldn't work Alan......but I wouldn't be comfortable with that. The one time that I did strip the drain plug thread I was lucky in that a replacement sump pan was easily available (before the days of internet!!). Personally I'd go with the one size up option......plenty of grease on the tap to hold the swarf.......and a copper washer on the new drain plug.......but that's just me....... Helicoil would be my next preferred option.
  10. The pressure guages on filling station air lines can be a bit sporadic......best to have your own one to check pressures with. Have you checked round the tyre to see if there's a nail in it or a split anywhere? Could be that you've picked up a nail or screw from somewhere.
  11. Unfortunately I can't get the time off work for this trip.......but maybe the next one.....
  12. Good luck mate.......I hope it goes well for you......
  13. Good vid Rob.......enjoyed watching that......
  14. I wonder if heating it up and then spraying some freezer spray down the hole you drilled would shock it enough to break its hold.....
  15. Having trouble opening the pic.......but I've seen it already.... Morgo produced a big bore kit for older Triumphs...... mainly to up the capacity of the 650cc to 750cc barcud.....
  16. Without a wiring diagram I'm guessing, but there's probably a connector that goes to the headlamp, so check the condition of that first....
  17. When you pass the A2 test you can get the test centre to send your license off and you'll receive a new license with the new entitlement added to it.....or you can send it off yourself (check and send at a Post Office is good for this) with the pass slip....
  18. Sounds like a dodgy connector around the headlamp unit.....or possibly a bad earth connection around there. I assume the rear/brake light was ok?
  19. 8 years and still going strong...... Thanks to everyone for making it what it is.......
  20. Ok....I'll check and see if that could be a goer....
  21. I'd say possibly the early May holiday week or the week after.......although I'd need to see if I could get the time off work and also if Bonniebird is up for it too. I'll let you know as soon as.....
  22. Giving it some consideration Rae........just need to suss out other stuff that's going on around that time.......and also the money situation.......but deffo interested mate......
  23. Yeah.....go to a school and get them to assess your riding and a decent school will then advise how many lessons you need before you do the test. Bear in mind that, as you've ridden your 125 for 3 years now you may have picked up some bad habits that they'll need to beat out of you..... Also, you can't do the A2 test on your 125......dunno if you are aware of that?
  24. Welcome to TMBF mate........pop over to the Newbies section when you can and introduce yourself to the guys..... Sorry for the delay in authorising your post, but one of the Mods or site owners needs to do this before it gets displayed.....unfortunately we need to do this to stop the place getting cluttered up with all sorts of spam. Ok.....once you pass your theory you can go straight ahead and book your tests.....but I would advise doing this through a riding school as you'd need a suitable bike to take the test on.....and they'll train you to pass......so, although it's reasonably expensive to do this, it may work out cheaper in the long run..... I'm assuming that you have a current CBT?......that will probably help a bit......
  25. It's not a faulty alarm or immobiliser is it Allan?
