  1. Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourn
  2. Hahahaha.....if you're gonna do it......
  3. Hmmmm.....maybe some of the other guys may have more ideas......
  4. Air filter is ok? and it's running a standard exhaust?
  5. Get on a Bikesafe course......well worth the money......
  6. Yes.....broken or sticking ring could cause probs.....but you'd see that with a compression check.....
  7. It's got the correct plug in it? The RD350 I had yonks back used to run out of top end puff when the plugs needed changing......I know you said that the plug was changed......but if it's the wrong one it could cause top end probs......just throwing ideas out mate.....
  8. No.....probably not......too much oil could possibly foul the plug though......
  9. Maybe the oil pump is overdoing it.......any adjustment on it?
  10. Needle height can affect the higher rev running.......if the needle is too low it won't go onto main jet as soon.....so it'll starve the engine of fuel. Have you inspected the rotary valve? What colour is the plug?
  11. Is the carb float set correctly......could it be starving of fuel at higher revs? What's the compression like too?
  12. Welcome to TMBF mate......pop over to the Newbies section and say hi to the guys...... To your problem......does it have a reed valve......and if it does, is it sealing correctly.......
  13. Did you replace the plain plates as well as the friction plates? The plain plates can dish so the clutch doesn't fully disengage.....and it gets worse as the clutch gets hot.....
  14. Love to Love - UFO
  15. Moved to Pitstop. Why not head over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the guys......they're more likely to help you if you do that....
  16. Yeah...the slide in the carb can get a bit mucky and scratched, but it's not normally anything to worry about unless it's really bad. How's the air filter? and are you running a stock exhaust on it? Check the spark plug colour to see how it's running.....
  17. Get yourself on a Bikesafe course mate.......they cover all the positioning and other stuff......well worth the money IMHO....
  18. Yep.....wobbly needle is normal.....
  19. Good luck with it mate......
  20. +1 for the R&G's.......got them on the Speedy and had them on the S4 when I had it......good bit of kit.....
  21. Can you not get a fuel tap repair kit for it Alan?......maybe the diaphragm has a split in it?
  22. Epic rideout for a very worthwhile cause...... When I see people squabbling on here and then see that brave girl, who always seems to have a smile on her face, I just feel like screaming..... There, but by the grace of god, go I.....
  23. Yep......it does show quite clearly how quickly a situation can change.... TBH I would never have attempted that overtake as the view wasn't anywhere near good enough........he was sitting on the crown of the road which reduced his view further.......and also bear in mind that the camera lens gives a distorted view.....making things look further away than they really are..... He got lucky.......
  24. Lunchtime would be good Ollie.....I'll aim to get over 12ish mate.....and I'll have my angle grinder at the ready...
