  1. Guilded Cage - Blackmore's Night
  2. The CG125 choke has a full on position (lever all the way up), a mid position (lever in the middle) and off (lever all the way down).......we found that putting it into the full on position to start it....and as soon as it started, put it into the mid position for a minute or 2......then it should be ok to turn the choke off completely......
  3. Bugger!!.....hopefully a new sump pan should sort that out......and stud extractors for the exhaust studs..... I stripped the sump on my XS1100 when I had it......had to fit a new sump pan on that.....which was when I learned the value of torque wrenches..... Guess the previous owner wasn't a torque wrench man.....
  4. I'll see if I can edit a bit of it and stick it on here..... Do you want the bit where you shouted at the cyclist and left your indicator on Neil.....
  5. You can come up and stay with us Alan......we're only 40 mins from the pod......and it's a reasonable ride over there from here too.....
  6. Could be that the idle speed is set too low......but, if it's got some warranty on it I'd trot it back to the garage you got it from......
  7. Walk This Way - Run DMC & Aerosmith.
  8. Yeah....cheers guys.....was a good run up there and a great breakfast and great company.....we'll have to do it again sometime.....
  9. I've camped at the firework meet at the Pod back in the '80's.......it was effin cold at night......and I was considerably younger then..... It's not a big meet.......but good fun....and, if the weather is ok, some good racing too......and the pits are open, so you can go round and chat to the riders and look at the bikes too.......a few trade stands there also.....but it's the end of the "season", so there's not the numbers you'd see earlier in the year.....
  10. I'll be the old fart on a Speed Triple with black and silver Tribal paintwork......and I have a very subtle black and orange Bell lid......
  11. Can do Alan......but I'm not sure about camping......it could be effin cold at night....
  12. I've got Black Rain Evo's......had them about 4 years now......not particularly waterproof now.....but nothing that a pair of Sealskin socks can't fix.....
  13. Nice one chaps.....see you at the Marina in the morning then.....
  14. Congrats on the Theory test..... I'd be looking at the Camrider course.....that other place sounds like a bunch of cowboys.....
  15. I'd better get my ar$e into gear and book the day off then....
  16. If the weather is ok I'll probably head over there on the on the Sunday. http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_extreme.php And for £30 you can take your bike up the strip......which I won't be doing as I'd probably bend the thing.....
  17. The 4th Kickback Custom Bike show is being held at Donnington Park on 20-21 Sept......http://www.donington-park.co.uk/events/ ... ycle-show/ Quite fancy a run up to this....
  18. I'm gonna try to get the Friday off......so, if you fancy staying over at our's Alan, we can head over there in one of the cars......that's if you fancy spending a couple of nights up this way mate..... Not a TMBF pi$$ up as such.....but we could sink a few at our local..... Ollie.....there'll be room in the car if you want to come across there with us......
  19. Forcast still good for tomorrow... 09:00 - 09:15 at the marina then? Postcode for anyone else who doesn't know the Hartford Marina, but fancies a run from there to Wheels in Peterborough.... PE28 2AA (Hartford Marina)......PE1 5BJ (Wheels Motorcycles)
  20. Heated grips?
  21. Cheap Wine - Cold Chisel
  22. Only has to be 3 letters.....not the whole word..... Nice try though Craig..... Erm....Red Imp.....gotta be minimum of 3 consecutive letters from one of the words in the song title (not artist) from the previous post....
  23. Have you got a link to it Shirl....
  24. Rebuilding the MC isn't a bad idea.......but it also sounds like your caliper pistons are sticking on the seals a bit.....which is causing them to retract a bit when the pressure is released. I'd pop the pistons out and clean them....and then refit them with a bit of red rubber grease on the seals first.....
  25. Not necessarily an EFI thing as I used to have to pull the clutch in on the Trophy too.....which was carbed.....
