Pull the new plug and check its colour......If it's black, then you're running too rich......

Could need the carb rejetting to suit the exhaust.......pull the spark plug and check its colour to see if it's running too rich or lean......

Welcome to TMBF mate. . . . . pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the guys when you can. ...... Is the bike carbed or injection? Sounds to me like there's likely to be a choke on there somewhere. .....just a matter of finding it....... Spanner may be the man to point you in the direction of an owners manual for the bike.....that'll show you how to start from cold for sure......

Standard exhaust or aftermarket on there?.....If it's aftermarket you may need to rejet the carbs.....

A disconnected indicator shouldn't cause the battery to drain........sounds like you've got a fault with the charging circuit.

Probably a dodgy bulb holder or broken wire on that indicator.......check those first before splashing out on a new indicator.....

You would notice the vents in hot weather.......even below 60mph...... -
Check that the fuel tank breather isn't blocked, causing a vacuum to form in the tank......

If those wires are the ignition wires.....and your meter was switched to Ohms, then that may well be the issue......
