  1. I have to use the car for work, due to the amount of tools and parts I have to carry........ But that means that the bike gets wheeled out for fun time.....
  2. Thank you all kindly......another year older.....dunno about the wiser bit though.... Yep, still 21, Hoggs.....but with cheaper insurance!!......
  3. Drink beer.....

    spark plug

If the body of the plug is hard against the engine then the spark should just jump the gap. Depends where you got the plugs from, but I guess you could have been unlucky and got some duff plugs.
  5. We made it across to Brackley too......and it was indeed a good day....... Yes, the classic racers were noisy......but what a glorious noise though.......
  6. The forum rally was last weekend mate......so, unfortunately you missed that. We normally do a start of season meet and an end of season meet too......we'll be working on the end of season meet, so keep an eye open on the forum for details......
  7. I've got an Innovv C3 on my bike. The camera unit is connected to the control/recording unit by a flexible cable......so the camera can be mounted discretely on the bike with the controller tucked away. The camera unit is waterproof but the controller isn't. .....but the controller can be tucked away out of the rain........ It can be hardwired in to the bike, so that it starts recording when you start the bike and stops when you kill the ignition.......can also do loop recording.......http://www.minidvcameras.co.uk/product/innovv-c3-action-camera-1080p-mini-dvr/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Camera unit mounted between the headlights, under the nose fairing Controller unit on top of clocks behind nose fairing
  8. Time is an illusion. .......lunchtime doubly so!.......
  9. Congrats mate. ...... now for some bike shopping?......
  10. Deffo don't give up Peaches......Sometimes it just takes a while for things to click......but keep going and it will happen......
  11. Nice one mate. .....good luck with the MOD2.......
  12. Congrats on the passes.......good luck with the bike hunting......
  13. Yeah....deffo sounds like a carb issue. Pull the plugs and check their colour........also, I'm assuming that the throttle cable is adjusted ok?.....and the carbs are balanced?
  14. Yep....If it's still under warranty get it back to the dealer. Otherwise.....you say the fuel pump motor works when you hook it to a battery, but you can't hear it when trying to start the bike? How does it get its power on the bike....is it through a relay? It sounds like a wiring/ electrical issue.......
  15. Ah....fair enough Alan......
  16. Congrats piglet......... Enjoy your new bike.....and keep it shiny side up.......

    Short levers

I've got Pazzo levers on my bike.......they're pretty expensive. .....but they were on the bike when I bought it and I've had the bike 4 years now and they still look like new.......

    Carb balancer

I used to have a set of these years ago......not cheap, but good quality...... https://www.davida-helmets.com/products/davida-vacuum-gauges?variant=13769966727" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Don't need anything like this now, as TuneECU shows me the throttle body balancing on my bike.......
  19. Yeah....I'd start with replacing plugs, air filter, oil and filter etc. There's nothing blocking the air inlet to the airbox is there?......sounds like the engine is being strangled. Megawatt is the man for these bikes.....He used to race it's predecessors at Santa Pod and elsewhere.......
  20. Glorian phoned Gin to let everyone know about the van.....but that was after you'd left, Joe. We're you over the speed limit down there? As the camera was facing the front of the bike I wonder if they sent the car to get your license plate?.....
  21. Awesome weekend folks.....huge thanks to Stu and Tracey for sorting the venue and the rideout, to Sue and Rennie for providing the top entertainment for Saturday night, checking the venue out and offering a brew to those camping, to Gin and Jay for sorting the rally t-shirts and transporting them to the rally......and to everyone that attended... I think it was one of the better rallies that we've attended.......everything was spot on........
  22. Cheers Alan......good info.....and thanks for the offers......
  23. Looking good, spanner....... Are you fitting the stock loom or modifying one?
