I resemble that remark, Stu!...... Anyway, back on subject........The black line on the OP's original question is probably just the different compound in the centre of the tyre.......harder wearing centre section to try to reduce the squaring off. I've got Michelin Pilot road 3's on my bike and they've worn really well.......may go the same again next time.....or maybe PR4's.......

Mine runs 40-41psi rear......34-36psi front.........was the same on my Speed 4 when I had it too.......

Welcome to TMBF mate. ......pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the guys when you can. ...... I'd say it sounds like you just need a new valve, as long as the wheel isn't corroded around where the valve seats.......

Mine do this too.......plenty of tread left on the front, but the shoulders are starting to wear, so it's dropping into slow corners. But the tyres are not far off 9000 miles.....so I can't complain really. I'll get them to last this year out and look to replace the pair next spring hopefully. ......

Forecast for here and Buxton doesn't look too bad at the moment........maybe an odd shower on Friday, but Saturday and Sunday look ok......

Welcome to TMBF mate. ......... Where are you based? There may be a bike shop nearby that you can go and try boots on. Me and Bonniebird went to J&S outlet store in Finedon in Northamptonshire the other weekend and tried a load of boots and lids on......

I saw a ghost when I was a kid. I was on holiday with my folks and we were renting an old cottage in Somerset. It was either the first or second night there and I woke up in the middle of the night to see a wispy figure standing in the room looking at me! I nearly crapped myself and dived back under the bed covers. When I peered out a short while later the figure was gone. I didn't say anything to anyone else. But in the morning my mum said that she had seen the same thing and said she felt really uneasy in this place, so we packed up and went and found somewhere else to stay. My folks weren't well off, especially with 4 kids, so this decision to move wasn't taken lightly. It was a bit later that I told my mum that I'd seen the same thing. As to whether ghosts are the remaining spirits of the dead, or parallel existences that occasionally break through who knows........but I'm very sure of what I saw that night!

Glad you're sorted Ian, just sad that I'm not around to join in the fun..... There's no Old Sun in Huntingdon......but there's 2 in St Neots. One is on the Great North road on the way into St Neots town centre from the A1. Heading towards the town centre it's on the left just past the White Horse pub. The other is on the left as you head from St Neots high street towards Huntingdon on Cambridge St. I'm sure EAB knows where the Black Bull and Exhibition are in Godmanchester. But if not, the Black Bull is on the left as you head into Godmanchester from Huntingdon. A bit further on into Godmanchester, past the Black Bull is a mini roundabout. If you turn right there and go along the causeway, a bit further on the road goes sharp left and then a sharp right, and the Exhibition is on the left as you exit that sharp right.
