  1. Welcome to TMBF mate..........pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself when you get chance ....... I agree with Stu......sounds like the clutch........you may be able to pop the clutch cover off without having to drain the oil with the bike on the side stand. ......

    Zing Beat 124cc

Welcome to TMBF mate......... I think as far as manuals go for your bike, you'll probably find a generic Chinese bike manual is your only option.
  3. I'm off to France for 3 weeks training.....so some time mid to end October would be good....... How about this place? http://www.ironhorseranchhouse.co.uk/
  4. Adams pretty much covered it mate......
  5. R&G do heated grips that get a RIDE award.......may be worth a look?......
  6. Congrats on the MOD1 mate.......and good luck with the MOD2.........
  7. Congrats on the pass mate....... Unfortunately I don't know the gpz500.........but I'm sure someone will be able to help with your brake question.......
  8. Yeah......I sent it to GOG on Facebook. ......great British humour.....
  9. Once you've got your CBT certificate you're good to go on your 125 with L-plates on your own.......but you'd need to renew the CBT every 2 years if you don't pass your bike test in that time....... Can't help with the insurance question as I'm an old bugg*r and passed my bike test long before all this CBT stuff......
  10. There is some real sh*t on there.......but some real good stuff too.......
  11. It's normally to protect the fairing panels from the heat of the engine, as you surmised. You can buy the heatproof foam and reapply after the panels have been sorted .........
  12. It was a tongue-in-cheek comment...........Rach traded her Speed Triple in to get the Tuono.......

    1964 T120 Bonneville

Could the selector forks be slightly bent?
  14. Buy a Triumph......
  15. Do you know if he can map with TuneECU, Fro? I was wondering where you got your bike dyno'd.
  16. No Ricky......I need more...... Actually, it's really because I think it's running a bit lean since I put a K&N air filter in.......getting a bit hotter than it used to.......so I want the fuelling tweaked to get it running a bit cooler......
  17. Yeah......Power Commanders are the norm, Stu......but I think there's more flashing the standard ecu's these days.......just don't know how good they are......
  18. Cheers Stu..... Seems that a lot of them would prefer to flog you a Power Commander rather than flash the bikes original ecu...... Has anyone used these guys?http://www.stevejordanmotorcycles.co.uk/dyno.asp
  19. Has anyone used a dyno centre that can produce maps for TuneECU? Looking for recommendations for decent dyno centres that can set up Triumphs. Cheers chaps......

    FAZER 1000 TROUBLE

They must know what the problem is by now surely? One of 3 things needed for an engine to run: fuel/air mixture in the combustion chamber, spark, compression........find out which one is missing and then find the cause!

    Overheating issue...

Electrical tape is the answer.................stick a bit over the temp readout....... If the expansion tank is boiling over, then it's not likely to be an electrical issue.......unless the fans are not cutting in or running fast enough intermittently........or the thermostat is sticking........or you've got an airlock in the water jacket......

    Overheating issue...

Engine running a bit lean with the new cans? My Speedy is running a touch hotter after I put a K&N air filter on the bike.......needs a bit of dyno time I think......

    Indicator Problem

LED or standard bulb indicators, mate? Could be the relay or a dodgy earth connection somewhere.......
  24. Got a party on Sunday, Ian.......so, no can do unfortunately .........
  25. C is likely to be the alternator cover......shouldn't be any oil in there. B could be the starter gear cover....if so, no oil in there..... Chances are that you could remove the clutch cover with the bike on the side stand, without having to drop the oil......but I'm sure someone who knows the bike better will correct me...
