  1. Seriously big mistake!!! The next meetup you come to, you will be bugged constantly!!!!
  2. Oh, yes.... I am guessing you did something similar? http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o230/junkinessblog2/ChunkTruffleShuffle.gif
  3. Yeah yeah, but what's this Truffle Shuffle thing all about then?
  4. Sounds like you had a good time mate. Stopped off at Carsington Water a few times myself. It has nice roads around it, a great place to take the kids and for a bit of serenity a quiet car park to chill out in... If you know where it is.
  5. Cheers mate We should all be thankful to Akey (Mark) as well for getting us to and from the place without any problems!!
  6. Went last year myself. Helmet for £200, retail at the time £330 Boots for £70, retail at the time £130 Gloves for £95, retail at the time for about £120 Not all good though, some things are actually more expensive, so get a good idea of what you are looking for and get the prices before you go so you can compare. Up to you if you risk riding around for a couple more months without a back protector though. I can't answer that one for you, although I would say get one.... tops you will be saving yourself £20 on one..
  7. Hmmmmm.... and it all sounded so casual last night. Well if I get out of the office before 10pm I will count myself lucky!!! Unfortunately manic is an understatement. Can't come out to play tonight!!
  8. 50 50 on it at the moment Phil. If work is not too insane when I get back after my week off tomorrow I might ride across for a natter. If work is a bit manic tomorrow I may still be sat at my desk when you are leaving there tomorrow!!!
  9. Fantastic!!
  10. Back home. Good to meet all the new faces out today. Great fun and a great museum.
  11. Right, I won't be online from after this message so looking forward to seeing you all there tomorrow. Ride safe everyone!!
  12. Dammit, he's on to us!!!! No idea what that's about, but if you follow London Road going North on that map then you will come to a roundabout. Its there mate!!

    Scott oiler

Local bike garage (and a load of websites) sell scottoiler refills mate!!
  14. Lol yeh thats helpful. Is it a 1000cc or something? lol fz6 is a 600cc I believe. Will be a bit laking on power as far as bikes go really. Shame, as looks wise, it's not too shabby to me. A twice detuned engine. I think Honda do the same... CBR600 engine is detuned for the hornet, then detuned again for the CBF600... In fact I think the CBF600 has roughly the same power output as this bike.
  15. Apparently the road for the U-Turn is wider than what has been used on the real roads. Interested to see and try the new system myself. Might have a wander down to the Nottingham one and see what it's like. Drop into Newbies and say hello mate... Good to see another Derby lad on board!!
  16. Looks like a great time!! Makes me want to do the same thing.
  17. This has to be the happiest thread ever!!!!
  18. Think Akey should reply to you about it soon mate. Not sure, but you might be able to get it off the just giving website as well. Not sure though!!

  20. Click on Profile, then the Info Tab, then the Edit Information button and add the URL in the URL section... If you still struggle though I am happy to go in as you and set it up for you but that does mean giving me your username and password for facebook!!
  21. Added to Facebook.... Will go on a few others as well.
  22. Been waiting for you to turn up mate!!! Bet you are happy!!
  23. Wow, although it was being talked about, I honestly thought they would just stiff all the learners and bring in a naff system for a while.
