  1. Have to see what money is like (How much the car is going to cost to fix ) but I will be there probably on a week day... It should be slightly quieter than the weekend.
  2. Got to ask mate.... Are you getting a CE approved Back Protector... No good having a great helmet to protect your head if your brain can't send signals to arms and legs because you broke your spine in an accident!!!
  3. http://hazel8500.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/can-o-worms.gif Seriously though. Firstly a helmet will get zero stars if it does not fit right so if the AGV does not feel good then get the Shoei!! From what I have heard recently Sharp have admitted to flaws in the testing system and are "Re-evaluating" their approach. We will see what happens with this. A good tight fit is the most important thing!!! A badly fitting £500 helmet will be useless compared to a £50 perfectly fitting helmet.
  4. Got Alpinestar leathers myself mate.... Have to say they are very comfy and very good quality. Its up to you mate... I am glad I did though.
  5. You need a bit of string between your gloves to keep them up!! Look at these mate. Not cheap, but waterproof and good crash protection. http://www.bikersworldonline.com/storef ... 229&dfid=1 And I know this sounds silly, but you might need a jacket with longer sleeves.
  6. This swear filter makes me giggle!! Does this mean you will have a full Pudsey suit then Susie?
  7. Bloomin cheap on ebay as well. Might be the way to go mate!!
  8. Depressingly fleabay looks good.
  9. http://www.harpersraceshop.co.uk/item1505.htm They have some Repsol ones as well. Still looking mate.
  10. I think it's 5ft 3 or over the age of 14. You are fine!!
  11. never tried any of them, but heard they are all good... Especially the boot's although I understand that you should not have wide feet if you wear Sidi's as they are slim boots apparently.
  12. Well it's only for people over 5ft 3"... That puts you about a foot short I think?
  13. Im in. Just to warn people, this won't be the cheapest thing done. Could easily top up a few hundred quid..... Worth it though I reckon!!
  14. That's actually bloomin impressive!!!!! May get some for myself next year.
  15. Draggin Jeans are meant to be very good.

    Any ideas??

Hmmm.... No idea then mate. Especially if you have the kill switch on and it's still draining it.

    Any ideas??

Take it to a garage mate. It's got a wiring fault that I bet a qualified automobile leccy could probably find and fix in less than half an hour.
  21. It's meant to be good Kate!!! Tony, what time were you thinking mate?
  22. Can't promise anything, but I might be there mate!!
  23. Up and out already at the time you wrote this!! And it was brilliant!!
  24. This is a toughie question mate. (Can I suggest you add CE Approved Back protectors to that list as well. They are an important bit of kit in my eyes). Altogether I have so far spent about £1150 on my kit, but I pretty much bought some of the best you can get. Alpinestar leather jacket and trousers. Shoei Helmet Oxtar Boots Alpinestar gloves I have bought an Alpinestar back protector which 6 months later I replaced with a Knox one. Then you have the little things that I did not get to begin with..... I need a thin balaclava for under my helmet in the summer, and a winter one for warmth and neck protection in the cold. I have since bought 2 more visors, and one more pinlock for my lid (Does not sound alot that, but the best part of £80). Also don't forget earplugs. PMC recommended Akito. Not used the stuff myself, but not heard anything bad about it yet. TimR used to use it and raved about it. Hope this helps mate.
