    At Last My First bike

Sounds about right to me. EDIT: lets see this bike then fella!! Get some pics up!!
  3. Click on our sponsor (Top Right) and have a look at Buffalo luggage in the Luggage section. I think (Someone may correct me) you will need a rack which the site does not sell, but the price is not too bad (Cheaper than I thought actually) from other sites. Of course depends on the bike. I can't really use soft luggage panniers due to the exhaust being in the way.
  4. That's the car you are selling because you never use it anymore?
  5. Ey Up STampie Drop into Newbies and introduce yourself mate!!
  6. Might be up for it mate. Roads should be a bit quieter tomorrow night as well. England are playing footie!!
  7. Tend to arrive around 6:30 to 7pm then leave anywhere between 9pm and 11pm. Depends on the day really... weather, hunger, and whatever.
  8. Hi Chris Drop into the Newbie section and say hello mate. Sounds like your discs are warped and you may have other problems as well. I would recommend you take it to a engineer if you are not too sure how to fix. It's your brakes... They are pretty important!!
  9. Hi All I am going to take a trip to this on Sun 14th. Thought we could get a group together and make a day of it? Anyone interested? http://www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co.uk/museum/ Register if you are coming please!!
  10. Got to agree Para. Been in the same situation as well and not been able to get out, but reading up on this it looks like a lot of fun was had today.
  11. What make is it mate? Looks like a Shoei, but not too sure? Found this http://www.shoei-helmets.com/road/helmets_road.aspx?h=2
  12. Some people simply won't do individualism on a big level mate. Shame really, as I love the colour mate. One other thing. If you find a good looking girl who does want an R1 give her my number!! That's my kinda lass!!!
  13. Techno's answer get's my vote!!
  14. But it's what we expect, so glad you did not dissapoint!!
  15. I have something a bit like that which lifts a Hornet happily. If you are worried drop em an email asking what the max weight is. I doubt you would have a problem.
  16. So..... Pictures anyone?
  17. Hi Mate Drop a post in Newbies and introduce yourself!!
  18. No Bigup, bobbins are not needed mate. It's a universal one that the swingarm sits on. See the two black pads at the top. Basically you slide those under the swingarm and the weight is taken by those as you lift the bike up.
  19. Will be there next week with any luck mate!!
  20. No, it appears I can't get time to myself!! Won't be there tonight.
  21. Does your bonce get hot in your lid with it on? No mate. I mean I only use it in really cold weather as I am a very warm bodied person anyway, but never had any problems with it. You can get similar things without the Balaclava, but as I always wear some kind of balaclava under my helmet, I though I would solve both problems in one.
  22. Here mate I use this http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcy ... prod/25996 Our site sponsors have this as well. http://www.motorcycle-store-online.com/ ... p-185.html The one I use is brilliant. Highly recommended!!
  23. I have to be honest I understand that having a 125 and turning up to a meet to see a load of 600cc+ bikes must be a bit of a worry. Don't worry though. As others have said, no one leaves anyone behind. We normally have a sweeper upper at the back who keeps everyone together and if we do get split up for whatever reason we all stick together. My first rideout was on my Hornet, but I was a very new rider who could not keep up with others. Never had a problem though, and never lost anyone. Go for it!!
  24. Got a-stars mate. Have to say they hurt the wallet, but worth every penny. I love em!! Might be worth the extra pennies!!
  25. Been looking at this stuff recently, and have to agree. Looks great and never heard anything really too bad said against it. One thing though mate. Don't look for the cheapest. Look for the most expensive you can afford. The more you spend on gear the better!! Cheapskate!!
