The problem with detergent is that to get the glass clear you have to get all of the detergent off. If you are prepared to put up with a bit of haze then it works. I haven't found anything that is perfect, they all have a compromise, normally a bit of haze. The one I have stuck with is Bob Heaths Anti fog. Spray on a light mist and let it dry, there is a bit of a haze but I can live with it. It's not perfect but does help. Yep - I can tolerate the haze for the price of the solution.

Bit of washing up liquid on a tissue, buff onto glasses. Job done.

When I used to commute during winter, I wore one of those hi-viz padded work coats over the top of my leather. It was cheap, toasty warm and worked better than any bike waterproof.

A question asked many times during the four years. I've no idea why we moved there, it wasn't anything like the Caribbean where we'd just spent five years that was for sure.

Opposite us, when we lived in Brum, was a medical centre. All times of day, every day of the week, people would park across our drive and block the car in or prevent it from being parked. I began by asking people nicely to move, or not to park there...if I saw them. And I'd go into the medical centre to ask them to ask the driver to move. Not once, not one single time, did I ever get anything back other than abuse or threats of violence. People are horrible when you point out they've done something idiotic or selfish.

I don't want anything networked because I fail to see a single benefit and can flush my toilet manually. I can see multiple drawbacks from being hacked to having household items rendered inoperable by software glitches.
