Sounds like a good idea by Mickly to go for a short ride to somewhere nice and local together for lunch, maybe get out in the garden together and do something with the bike like cleaning it etc will help motivate him. Talking is good when the time is right ask him how he feels and see how it goes, sorry I cant be more help.

Had a busy morning checking and packing for trip down to the Italian alps, all sorted now just got to put the bags into the panniers and top box for a 5am start in the morning. A few beers this afty then a curry and early night, a little bit excited now.

Will be coming through Luxembourg in a few weeks on the way up to Ypres, cant wait, thinking of detouring a little to go by Bastogne barracks on the way. Great read guys.

Hi, travelling by ferry next Sunday from Dover to Calais and was wondering if anyone travelled this weekend from Dover and how was the cutoms que.

Getting the bike ready for me hols, fitted a Puig screen and checked bike over, fluids levels, tight bolts etc. A few on the rack needed tweaking.

Looks a really good show typically its the weekend we are of touring in Europe.

One thing that will/should bring down your costs will be to have just social and domestic and not commuting(if your mot using the bike for commuting), think it saved about £50 when I took out a policy two years ago, cant remember this years saving.

Could you get a copy scanned and emailed to you, if that would cover you? I just booked up with a company called QDOS Breakdown for £31.55 hopefully they come good if needed. If my bike was a bit older I bet the policy would of been a lot more.

You could try another test ride and see if you get it again and try your best to be relaxed as you may have been tensing up a bit when riding which will add to things.

Fitted a MV Motorrad bar riser, just to make life a bit more comfortable.

Had a new pair of Pirelli GT2's ftted to the bike ready for the big Jolly in September, looking into getting a MV Motorrad bar riser but need to look into tank bag clearance first. Mick
