I understand you fully Stu which is why I never go above 20 just to be safe, I also wear a day glow bodysuit and am strongly considering touring the scrapyards to try and find some 80's style leg protecters to retrofit

still only on my 125 so no motorways. Costume is for the saturday night party, you will feel out of place without one do you really need a top box for a tent? bungee strap it down somewhere this was mine last year

I use a set of irwin bolt grips like these for any really stubborn bolts . they bite into the bolt as you loosen it, expensive for what they are but well worth imo http://www.dieselbike.net/extraction/Bolt%20Grip2.JPG

could possibly be running too rich which would be why it is better with the air cover off. Try leaning the mixture on the carb. there is usually a pilot screw on them which leans/richens the air fuel mixture.

I use the Nikwax wash in stuff. you just stick your things in the washer on the handwash setting and its done.

I'll be there. was hoping to have done my test before the next rally but that wont be happening until at least September now 170 miles on a 125? I must be mad!! ps. looks like I'll have to start behaving and stop taking the pee out of people now the rally is on
