Ah, I see. Don't forget to fold it back again. Watch out though, I've changed a couple in the past where I folded the washer back and it still came undone. What I did after than was to put a spot of white paint on the nut and spline, and then check it after a week or so.

Thought you changed the sproket, only it looks old to me, also the locking washing isn't bent over yet.

You can make changes at the end of each round, but you can only change 2 or 3 riders at a time. You can just leave your riders and not do anything, but I don't think you'll win that way.

I use car oil all the time on all the bikes I've ever owned. I've never had the clutch slip due to oil.

Yeah it can and will damage the stand, even sitting on your bike with the stand down damages it. The damage will most likely not even be noticable at first, it does take quite a while, but eventually something will snap or bend.

Yeah it does seem tougher to pick your team

Rawtenstall or "Rossendale Bike Show" as it used to be called was pretty good. I used to find it really strange, you'd be walking down the street and they'd be a Harley for sale in the Butchers window, next door was a hairdresser's with Oil for sale and a second hand exhaust. Next shop was equally as bizzare. The whole town was the show which was amazing.
