Yes, when I first learnt to ride a bike you ould ride a 250cc bike on a provisional licence. I'm afraid the laws have changed & as has been said you'll need to start from scratch, CBT then theory & main test (Mod 1 & Mod 2)

Aaww that's great - really was 3rd time lucky!! I'd imagine it helped - a bit of humour always helps to ease your nerves! Mine walked in in his black leathers looking like someone from the Gestapo - was crapping myself before I even left the centre & things went downhill from there!

Just had a call from my daughter - the op she was having today has been cancelled, half an hr before she was supposed to check in!!!!!! They've got no beds apparently!!! F*ck it - and f*ck the NHS system!!!

Sounds like you had a good time Ged! We organised a forum meet at the Motorcycle Museum a few years ago - maybe need to do another one!
