Do have to add that it was definitely a team effort - we certainly didn't organise it on our own!!

If anyone's interested I can give you links to some of the places we looked at for this year's rally. The main reason we discounted most of them was that they wouldn't allow people to take/drink their own alcohol on the camping field - expected you to buy from the pub. September pretty busy for us too!

Oh yes don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting it isn't a good idea at all - I'm just too tired to think about it atm! There's nothing to stop any members organising an event - it doesn't have to be Mods. It's everyone's forum so all can get involved! It's a grand idea to try and organise more social gatherings but I'm a little 'rallied out' at the moment to even think about it - quite a lot of organising involved!! Something worth pointing out is that it is difficult finding somewhere that provides what we need. We spent a long time & many phone calls searching for suitable venues.

Erm, I could but it's a bit technical for my mental capabilities at the moment - sorry! Means splitting the thread but if no-one else has done it I'll try tomorrow!

Dave, we must've both started new topic at the same time!! We got home about 1.30pm - bit rainy nd bloody windy ride home!! Had a briliant weekend - thanks all of you!! TMBF Rallies just keep getting better each year!! Fantstic to see so many people turned out on a weekend that wasn't the best weather-wise!
