  1. Watched the events with my daughter, she felt physically sick when she saw what happened. Terrible loss of such a young man with a huge future ahead of him I will miss seeing that hair flying out of the back of his helmet. As has been said, Edwards & particularly Rossi must be feeling devastated at how this happened. I also feel for Bautista, as he and Marco were having a really hard-fought battle immediately before Marco crashed. R.I.P young man!
  2. Not at all Mandy - I like driving too! Have both (well 2 bikes in the garage but only allowed to use 1!) but most miles in the car.
  3. Moved to CBT Test & Training section!
  4. Presume you're over 21 but took your test on a 125 then?

  6. That's really bad luck! TC told us you had 'bike issues' and couldn't make the trip. What a shame
  7. Glad you're home ok Mandy - sorry to hear you had a technical hitch with Bonnie!! It was great seeing old friends and new today - a long trip but worth it!!!
  8. I'm back home, after a 200 mile round trip!! Was lovely to see so many forum members - catch up with old friends and meet new ones!
  9. Erm, why do you need to get your bike MOT'd to do your CBT? Book your CBT & do it on their bike - and tell them you want a geared bike not a twist 'n' go Moved to CBT & Training section BTW!
  10. Let Me Be Your Fantasy - Baby D
  11. Moved to Pitstop
  12. Thanks everso Neil - if all else fails I'll head for Edith Weston & look for signposts!
  13. Forgive me if I'm being thick but I just googled Lyndon visitor centre & got the postcode - when I put that into bing maps it shows as being near Oakham/Egleton (the north shore I think?), which is on the other side to Edith Weston/Normanton. Really confused
  14. Thanks sweetie - my route depends on which shore y'see Highlight didn't work but I'm sure I can find my way - with the help of satnav!
  15. Neil, you seem to be the man in the know - have you got a postcode link to the shore/car park that we're meeting in? I'm confused as to which one we're going to - first it said Oakham, then it said Edith Weston
  16. Please can someone clarify for me which shore we're meeting at? The original post said Oakham - isn't that the North Shore? And then TC's said Edith Weston, which looks to me like it's on the South Shore? If we could have a postcode link to the right car park/shore I'd be grateful!
  17. I used to use it on the ex's fishing gear just as Stu said & it worked well. I would imagine using it in the washing machine is more effective thsn hand washing.
  18. Think maybe you mean 'which is less harmful' rather than 'which is better' Alex! In my limited knowledge/experience I would imagine neither too loose or too tight is definitely not 'better'!!!!!
  19. Okie dokie I'll see what Rennie's working that weekend - might give myself a day off & go over there in the car, just to say hello!
  20. I'm kind of assuming this is gonna be at Rutland water? What sort of time are people hoping to be there?
  21. My boots are Bullson - dunno what model but they've not let me down yet!
  22. I saw it - they said something about the pads moving in the calipers when he had the front wobble & that the brakes didn't work properly - hence he had to run into the gravel. Having said that, I've got no idea what that actually means!
