    Smart home

I've got a nest thermostat and Amazon echo in the kitchen. Bought my mum an Amazon echo so I can video call her really easily. The nest thermostat is a nice bit of kit. It's wakes up when it detects movement and shows the current weather outside and I can control the heating from my phone and track usage. Easy to wire in too if you're comfortable taking the cover off your central heating boiler.
  2. Tyre lever or heavy metal chain been pulled through the wheel.
  3. Did you know that you can tell the gender of an ant by throwing it in water? If it sinks = girl ant. If it floats = buoyant.
  4. It's not just "a little naughty" it will likely land you a huge fine and possibly jail time..
  5. Try this https://www.gov.uk/request-information-from-dvla
  6. Yeah and some people already have their decorations up!! Bit early I reckon
  7. So you can just buy as many as you need and link to the app? Are they for external use as well as internal do you know? Yep outdoor cameras, and yep just add them to the app as you buy more. The 1080p is good picture quality. I've got an android phone and the app works perfectly
  8. ive got an ieGeek camera installed in my garage, and four of them installed in my mums shop (to compliment her 16 channel wired cctv system) no complaints so far! Each one has an internal SD card to record onto and the app lets you playback the footage from each camera. easy to setup, and work well in zero light. £50quid each off amazon, excellent reviews too. https://amzn.to/2CFBTkO
  9. If your bike drains a leisure battery as well as its own, you have something pulling some serious current...
  10. You don't need a generator, just a big leisure battery connected to the trickle charger(optimate) socket. That will provide many more amp hours so your bike will last month's without discharging. Take the leisure battery home to recharge periodically.
  11. Who cares, eat what you like and be happy! When did everyone get so obsessed about staying skinny and not overeating at Christmas??
  12. This is you in your other Spiderman costume them..
  13. looks like the tube is no longer cylindrical. its stretched it a bit, but weld it up and it will be fine i reckon
  14. are you sure riding about with no crash protectors has cracked the frame?? where is it cracked?
  15. Dying is cheaper than saving for a pension or paying off your house. Eat what you like and just have fun!
  16. Yep, working three days next week. Won't be much actual work to do so better than wasting holiday time. Monday will be a half day anyway and I can't imagine much will get done Thursday and Friday. Already lining up boozy lunches.. the joys of working within a stone's throw of loads of pubs
  17. Black bikes are faster
  18. You're assuming you're still able to restrict the bike and not laying in the gutter all smashed up and being spooned into a plastic body bag. Just take your test. Biking isn't a cheap hobby so if you can't afford your test you can't afford to be a biker.
  19. Shop closed? Nobody there?? Then it's safe to burn the place down. That's fair for the way they've treated you.
  20. I bought a crossbow after the 5th attempt. I told the police that us people are like sheep, the wolves do as they wish with us as we can't legally defend our selves. The shepherds (Police) seem to have abandoned the flock because they don't do shit to protect us. I have a disability called POTS, can't walk very far so rely on my cheap bike to get me around. I don't look for sympathy only solutions to problems, Im starting to think that the only solution to this problem is overwhelming firepower. Sadly a lot of people don't agree but I say that as soon as a criminal engages with you with intent to harm and steal they forfeit their rights as a human. Crossbow bolt tend to be hollow. Fill them with explosives for added bonus. Walk upto the scrote laying on the floor with a crossbow bolt poking out of him, just pull a lighter from your pocket, light the fuse and move back out the way to avoid being splattered with raw meat.
  21. Now for the post most will kick off about . But it has to be said .. DO NOT DO THE ABOVE ! wtf with the amount of knife crime already in this country why do you think this is acceptable .This makes you no better than the criminals your dealing with As for being chased .. You put yourself and others in danger by your actions over a piece of insured machinery .At what cost do you consider human life .. If they had caught you they could only attack you if you give them the chance to . It its a guaranteed that you have no choice LET THEM HAVE THE BIKE .Don't throw it down so its damaged and of no use to them as its you that has to stump up the cost to repair .If they take the bike ITS INSURED . If you had caused an accident do you think the thieves would have stopped to be your witness ? You say you used your skill as a motorbiker ... How about using your common sense as a Human being first . with regards to bike laying over.A cover can act like a sail and in high winds the bike may topple because of it . Maybe not what you want to hear but look at the larger picture The criminals in London will take your phone wallet watch and bike then stab you a few times to give them a head start getting away or chuck acid in your eyes so you can't identify them in a lineup. Don't assume that being polite and handing them the bike will mean they let you go unharmed because chances are they won't.
  22. Move house quickly!!
  23. Legally you need to give them one chance to fix it (which you did) and then after that if the problem persists you are entitled to a refund. Did you buy on credit card or finance?? https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act Enjoy your refund and buy a better bike
