  1. Tentative yes from me. I need to check with the Missus that she's not booked anything else up for that date.
  2. Ah maybe thats what it was then.. I'll check the footage and see what car was in front of him. I wasnt in the mood to chat to the police, so I made a rather swift exit. But then i realised because I'd caught up with the lead rider, at the very next turn I'd have to stop and mark the corner until everyone, including potential angry copper, came past... Lol.
  3. Sure, and i'm sure we'll be trading beers again at the rally regardless... yep, so its basically free! PM your address and i'll stick it in the post.
  4. And this now make's me think thermals? Does the brand really matter for thermals? That's a good idea, although i'll look a plonker with the rain cover coat on, but that might work! Thank's Joeman! Lidl base layers are pretty good. i have a spare top thats a bit tight for me. should fit you fine i reckon... yours for a beer if you want it?
  5. Funny you say that... We had a Police Land Rover (stationary on the other side of the road waiting to turn right) put on his blue lights and wave out of his window as we rode past I've reviewed the camera footage, and i wasnt doing anything wrong. I was slowly overtaking multiple slow moving cars (no double whites or anything naughty like that - just a single broken line), and i pulled back into my lane with plenty of space... Then the police on the other side of the road stuck on his blues?? I can only assume there was something going on behind me that he didnt like the look of as i wasn't doing anything illegal, simply "making progress"... maybe his wife wont let him buy a bike? Maybe he was in a hurry to get some doughnuts ! maybe i should have "High Fived" him as i rode past.. http://www.piclnk.net/joeman//HighFive.gif

  7. Welcome Jools! Loved seeing that little 390 carving through the pack. Hoping I got the angry copper on video
  8. Or get a large textile jacket that will fit over the leathers.
  9. Just watch out for the renewal price! The AA try to rip you off every year, and every year I argue with them and get a 50% discount. Ive got AA gold membership that gives me free child cover, so my 2 year old daughter has her own AA membership with her own AA card!! So if she's in a car and it breaks down, the AA will recover it.
  10. Good base layers that fit tightly and try a rain cover over the leathers to keep the wind out.
  11. Get him to sign up on the forum!! Need to see that little 390 again. Its a great little bike!
  12. Home safe! Great ride people. Will upload some vids shortly..
  13. I wouldn't .. When I compared the zips and removable layers, the rst looked like it would let wind and rain through.
  14. Sounds like a case of small car paranoia to me mate ...
  15. Bright sunshine here in sevenoaks! Looking likes its going to be a good day for a rideout
  16. Take a look at Richa gear. I'm very impressed with my richa textiles.
  17. No need for choke once the engine is warm. If you need choke to keep the motor running you probably need to adjust your idle screw until you dont need choke.
  18. Just to add, of you see someone drop a mark and ride off before the tail gunner arrives, mark the corner yourself. Also once you've marked and you end up at the back in front of the tail gunner, feel free to make your way back up the pack if its safe to do so.
  19. Turn up with a FULL TANK!! Dragging the whole group through a petrol station will be a pain in the arse.
  20. So, what time tomorrow will we get the final "Go/No-Go" decision? with people traveling 2 hours to be there for 1pm, id suggest we make the final decision by latest 10am.
  21. anyone used Dynaplug? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ng-YQ_NP1ec
  22. Indeed, although sure as hell beats it getting knocked or scratched because someone at work "didn't notice it". time all tell. You need a smaller camera...
  23. PR3 seem to last forever.. Mine still look like new!
  24. I knew someone was going to suggest this, however the AA and RAC want to charge me an extortionate amount of money as my bike is over 10 years old. I'm not going to wait an hou I thought it was the person covered by the AA not the vehicle. Ive got AA and they dont know what vehicles I drive.
