  1. I amazed that stuff held! When you rode off you had big lumps of white foam spraying out of your back tyre. I'll see if I have that on video too.
  2. I captured it on video...
  3. String with magnet on the end??
  4. yes, it was chilly in leathers! we had a few disasters on the way... i'll let Phil explain of the four of us who met at Lakeside, only two of us made it to southend, and we only stayed for about 40mins before deciding it was likely to rain. great to see all the bikes though
  5. Looking like a sunny day! Leathers or textiles.... Big decision...
  6. For Easter, I went to a farm and watched three lambs being born... I saw some baby pigs too.. all very cute...
  7. Haha, I got a toy with my egg, but not that big!!
  8. Just adding this to the options.. if you have an Android phone, you can use the app Android Intercom to setup a group chat with multiple other android users. https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... m&hl=en_GB
  9. I ate an entire JCB Easter egg for breakfast...
  10. Take out the plug and check the spark gap. I bet its been set to wide.
  11. Yep, its the way all sports bikes should be from the factory.. Healer is pretty simple to adjust, once youve got the knack of it. Did you do front and rear sprockets? How many teeth did you remove/add?
  12. No idea! first ride will likely be monday...
  13. I fitted these a few days ago..
  14. I did exactly the same when I rode my bike home.. Interested to know how you get on with yours. I find below about 4k rpm the quickshifter isn't great, so i still use the clutch when pottering about. High revs its fantastic
  15. No doubt it will take you a bit of time to re-train the brain to not let off the throttle during gear changes. I know it took me a while to get used to it.
  16. I'm convinced MOTs are getting easier to pass.
  17. Some jeans claim to be kevlar jeans, but they only contain small patches of kevlar. Others contain full kevlar linings. Also some have padding and pockets for armour. Others at just thin jeans.. I have an pair of kevlar combat trousers but they are so thin I wouldn't trust them in a fall.
  18. What about all the defenceless poor bugs that die at the hands (rather on the visor) of the cruel motorcyclists.. Just winding you up..
  19. I wonder what tech we will struggle with when we are old?? Imagine this thread in 50years time.. "I got home and found dad playing with the replicator machine, trying to create new bits for his old motorbike...stupid old fool forgot to initilise the dilithium warp drive crystals and ended up creating Chinese parts made from cheese!!"
  20. Used one glove when doing a BBQ with no proper BBQ utensils and just a normal fork. My hand was cooking too, so used a leather bike glove to shield it from the heat. Other hand was fine as it had a cold beer to keep it cool.
  21. right then people, whos going to this?? looking like i'll have a pass out for the day, and the weather is looking good too...
  22. clearly, he'd just fitted some cheap Chinese levers, and the brake locked up
  23. I have no problem with vegans/vegies, it just fascinates me how many variations there are. Some will eat fish, others not. Some eggs, others not etc.. Some treat it like an allergy so if meat has been within sniffing distance of their food they refuse to eat it.. Rather than address the problem of cruel farming by sourcing ethically produced products, they chose to just stop eating them completely... Just seems a bit drastic to me!
  24. Ok here's a really silly question.. (Totally off topic) If someone served you a plate of food with meat and a nice salad etc, would you eat the non-meat items and leave the meat, or reject the whole plate?
  25. Does it bother you that the tyres, and the plastics on the bike and the fuel you put in the tank is made from dead sea creatures?
