  1. Yep. We don't have a cat flap so he uses the upstairs windows as his means of entry/exit and regularly sunbaths on the flat roof which is just under the upstairs bedroom and bathroom windows. When I hear him making puking noises I simply accelerate the exit process. He's puked in mid flight before but he doesn't seem to mind.
  2. bet he feels like a big man now...
  3. haha nice one.. Fortunately my child has never thrown up on me in bed, but i do have the same reflex when my cat starts making puking noises... although i tend to throw him out the window! (onto flat roof)
  4. Get a chain tension stick! A bit of wood cut to a length that if you can fit it under the longest part of your chain, you know its too loose.

    Lucky Break

Haha nice one. Very satisfying stuff like that.. We've got a load of pikey travellers passing through Sevenoaks at the moment. A friend's house was done over last week in the 20mins it took her to walk the dogs. Sevenoaks is a pretty low crime area, but can't be too careful so I've got onto my mate who works for ADT and had a complete ADT alarm system installed at "mates rates". As has been said, if you can break in without damage and without raising any alarm, you can be pretty sure a pro could do it in half the time...
  6. well that would depend on what gear you are already in if you're in 6th gear, you'll need to drop a few gears.
  7. Just buy a gold ACU sticker from eBay and stick it to a Simpson bandit.
  8. To give you some idea, when i was at brands a few weeks back, i think the bloke said my stock pipe tested at 92db at 55000rpm static. and an increase of 3db is double the level.
  9. Simpson Bandit is the oldschool streetfighter lid. google image search will show you some good paintjobs.
  10. she's welcome to sit on my monster....

    Speeding

I saw a camera van whilst doing 85 on a dual carriageway on Sunday in the car... As soon as i saw him i hit the brakes down to 65.. Not sure if he got me or not. Just waiting for the ticket to arrive They should give some allowance for people who instantly slow down as clearly they are very observant!
  12. uploads some pics of the missus and we can decide what bike would suite her best...

Newly installed washing machine and away on holiday?? I'd certainly switch the water off before I went away...
  14. Honda water cool over 1000cc engine size probably weigh around 250 Kg to 300 Kg. I dropped the bike at the walking speed during the down hill, a private road entrance where we could not ride properly, I had to push the bike while sitting on it and the engine was idling. Then I realized that the bike was so heavy and I could not keep it upright. Eventually I had to drop it to to save my leg/ foot. Fortunatey, the bike was not damaged or scratched. It was a controlled drop. More training needed. If you can sit on it and push with your feet at walking pace, you could have ridden the bike under its own power and it would have been stable. All bikes whilst moving are stable. You can ride at a very slow speed and it won't feel heavy. Also what were you doing riding such a big bike if you were not confident??
  15. what was the big bike you dropped? sports bikes are big but are not heavy, and all the weight is down low making them feel very light.
  16. Would be useful to have a section not open to the public.. Just for members to post secret stuff!

Ao.com will do next day delivery and take the old one away.
  18. lol, no worries
  19. Thanks for the kind words guys Another mod I forgot to mention is the steering damper upgrade. The standard OEM steering damper is fine for general road use but at triple digit speeds its not man enough to prevent headshake. So before I did a track day at Brands I made sure I swapped out the OEM steering damper and replaced it with an Ohlins damper. As if by magic all headshake has gone.
  20. Readers Rides has appeared I see
  21. Check its not come loose. Pops and bangs can mean an air leak in the exhaust. Fresh air gets in, mixes with the unburnt fuel and with the heat goes bang!
  22. Most people die in bed, so let's ban beds.... Oh, and hospitals - loads of people die in hospitals, best ban them too.
  23. Belly pan fitted and first ride with the Akrapovic. its sounds awesome! I used to have a black powerbronze screen. i decided i didnt like it so I removed it a few weeks back. Today i replaced the OEM clear screen with an OEM black screen. OEM black screen is top quality, fr superior to the powerbronze screen. but its not cheap at over £160 from BMW!! I got mine for 55 quid
  24. Matt black shows all the greeasy finger prints.
  25. Motorsport is dangerous.
