  1. Most bikes are overgeared to achieve better fuel efficiency/emissions figures for homologation , so swapping the front for a -1 is often a good idea. yes you will lose top end speed, but the acceleration increase will be worth while.
  2. All my biker friends are stuck inside a computer...
  3. I've got the Oxford Boss.. Pretty much the same experience as you. I put it on the bike in the garage, wait a few mins, nothing. Then as soon as I leave the garage i here it "beep" once then start screaming. Yet like you, ive managed to remove the seat and do other stuff with it still on the bike with no noise... Figure that out! Oh and at the rally, Rant kicked my front tyre and it didn't even make a peep..
  4. large breakfast???
  5. real question is, did he return his trolley to the trolly bay or just abandon it in the carpark where it could roll away and smash someone else's car?

"Tesla Tax" even thought your car is 100% electric, because it cost more than £40k the government want to tax you ...
  10. Snip a strip of metal from a beer can and fold it over, drill a hole through, bolt it all up - job done.
  11. Have you heard back from them yet Beefs? Give them time, they probably fell off their chairs and banged their heads in disbelief that someone would actually consider buying 25 Chinese bikes at one time!
  12. But that's exactly the excuse the pikey travellers use to allow them to drive untaxed uninsured cars and park them anywhere they like.. "can't take my car/van away, it's my life".... And they get away with it all the time.
  13. Just put the same instructions as they put on food products: "Store in Cool dry place, once opened, use within 3 days"
  14. Yeah because everything on the internet is true...
  15. thats why the minimum order quantity is 25 - for every 25 you buy, one will be actually ridable!

  18. Was going to say, if he's regularly speeding through there and not having accidents maybe the speed limit is too low!
  19. 60mph through a busy junction in the dark on wet roads...
  20. Can't go wrong for 15quid!!
  21. It does work Joeman. I nipped up a couple of cracks on the side scoops of wifey's toy car a few years back and they're still good. There are specialist kits available for this - I saw one in action on Wheeler Dealers. Well solvent weld is about 5quid for a pot, so cheap repair!
  22. Bike fairings are made from ABS I think. They don't take too well to fibreglassing. There are videos on YouTube that show people melting the fairing back together. I've often wondered if the solvent weld used in plumbing to stick plastic pipes together would work on bike fairings... Worth a try!
  23. thats pretty normal - all leathers make you look like youre wearing a huge nappy.
  24. if you have the skills to change the seat, your have the skills to run one bit of wire from the rear brake switch into the wiring loom to get the brake light to work!! come on, get your electrical hat on and get wiring
