  1. Busted by the reading police
  2. Hang it from the ceiling like I did when changing the forks on my GSXR.
  3. Leathers, but often when I get home from a hot ride I take the bike round the block in shorts and t-shirt to dry off the sweat! It's a great feeling
  4. Nice work, but Get some crash bungs! If that goes down the road you will cry.
  5. Ok I'll bite... I rekon trump might actually be good for the US. He's not afraid to make radical changes. They might not all be correct, and we won't all agree that they are a good idea, but at least he's got the balls to make changes. Imagine if we in the UK had decisive leaders like that - brexit would have happened already, and we'd probably be charging Europe for the costs! none of this faffing about trying to work out how best to come out the other side smelling of roses. Decisions would be made and actions would be taken. For too long politicians have been faffing about making lots of noise and not actually doing much, trump isn't like that.. he's a do-er not a procrastinator.
  6. come on people, let the man have some fun with his new toy. its not everyday you get handed an entire country to play with! he'll soon get bored and move onto something else... thats when we need to get scared!
  7. Ok, who's up for a group Rideout to the newboys dealership to ask his god-like technicians every question we ever wanted answered about anything as they know everything apparently.
  8. Using motorist to generate cash and reduce unemployment, thinly disguised as road safety improvements.. They will become the most hated people on the road...
  9. Majority of TV remotes use Infrared (line of sight) so not likely to interfere through a wall! put your had over the front and see that it blocks the signal...
  10. FFWD to 6:55 to hear about what to do if you bang/drop your lid.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ovd3KGu6BgU
  11. No need to replace if they fall on the floor with no head inside. The foam inside won't have had any weight pressing against it to cause it to compress.... Although you are freekishly tall so if it fell off your head it probably would have wiped out humanity like the meteor that killed off the dinosaurs.
  12. Thats cheap biking. cant complain at that..
  13. new helmet is cheaper than a new head... replace it!
  14. Haha now your posts make sense!! You only had one side moving - that's the reason you push the wheel forwards first to make sure it's free to move then use the adjusters to pull it back and align... You basically only had one adjuster working!!
  15. Thanks for the vote of confidence I will go out and try again. For some reason I can't seem to get the axle straight.. Then wind them the match! Do the chain side first, then wind the other side to match.if that makes the chain too tight, slacken the chain side off a little and push the wheel forwards again.
  16. No you won't, don't give up! Slacken off the spindle and slacken off the adjusters and push the wheel as far forward as it can go. The chain will be slack. Use the adjusters to wind the wheel back. As the wheel moves the chain will get tighter. Once at the required tension, tighten the spindle. Sometimes the chain goes a bit tighter when the spindle gets tightened so if that happens, allow some slack.
  17. Thank the lord you don't have a torque wrench, that's all I can say...
  18. How long ago was it repaired? If it's a result of the repair work, the mechanics who fixed it have an obligation to put it right.
  19. oh i love a bit of sh1t stirring..
  20. so you have a woman with a fear of shopping for clothes, and a dad who loves buying and wearing woman clothes.... you need your own reality TV show...
  21. suggests all the Twin riders who claim not to use their brakes only require minor speed alterations... i.e. they are riding like grandmas!
  22. On that point, i use a few credit reference agencies to keep track of my credit score. Clearscore.com is a very good free service. Nothing to stop you having multiple current accounts (I've got about 4 at the moment) when asked how long I've held my current account I always quote my oldest which I've also memorised the account details for which makes filling out forms much quicker. Having multiple sources of available credit, like a few accounts with overdraft facilities will boost your credit score as it shows you don't need to use it.
  23. As another check, measure the gap between the wheel rim and the swing arm both sides at the front of the wheel. If that gaps the same both sides, assuming your wheel isn't buckled, your wheel will be pretty well aligned.
  24. You don't normally have to fully switch, just have a certain amount paid in each month, so often you can open the account, pay in the qualifying amount and take the free cash.
  25. Yep still the same for me months on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Loads of people say that, but if braking with the rear wheel was a good way to brake, why do they fit two huge disk brakes on the front wheel??
