  1. welcome - worn tyres, misaligned rear wheel, worn headstock bearing, worn chain/sprockets ... those would be my first points to check.
  2. Good advice but I reckon the landlord is unlikely to want to get involved. He's not going to want to cause problems with a reliable paying tenant, and he's not likely to care what the neighbours think as landlords are quite used to being hated by neighbours. Sounds to me like the complaining neighbours want your house so they can move in the rest of their family so they are trying to make it uncomfortable for you to stay.. Edit: an interesting read that you could print out and drop through the home owners letter boxes: https://www.lovemoney.com/news/17728/how-rows-with-your-neighbours-could-hurt-your-house-price
  3. You rent, they own?? Tell them you will file the noise complaints yourself with the council. These then show up on searches conducted during house sales and have a negative impact on their house price. They will basically devalue their own property as nobody will want to live in an area with noisy neighbours... You have the upper hand!!
  4. Didn't you just sell all your tzr stuff??
  5. I drove past brands today and got a glimpse from the road of some bikes racing. Roads round there were soaked with huge puddles so I hope the track was better!
  6. Bikers do it between rows of cars Bikers do it only when the sun's out Bikers do it mostly alone Bikers do it with the twist of their wrist Bikers do it with a helmet on Bikers do it faster than car drivers

    Sticking brakes

But tell her if she let you buy the shiny new bike you want, these things wouldn't be necessary... Not entirely true but nice way to convince her you need a new/second toy

    New Shock or Rebuild?

100quid to rebuild a 15 year old OEM shock, or 400 for updated aftermarket shock using modern technology and probably more adjustable.... New shock for me
  9. yep its a pretty good modern day take on the original movies
  10. watching it now on catchup... pretty good so far
  11. and get some crash bungs fitted ASAP!
  12. Very nice!! That your first ever bike?
  13. Is it even possible to go any further north on a motorcycle??
  14. Currently parked up in homebase carpark whilst little one sleeps and eldest is at preschool and partner is getting some rest. It's great having two kids But congratulations
  15. Ask them what they suggest you do. Clearly they have an opinion but if that involves not riding your bike they are being totally unreasonable. Point this out to them. Put them in a position where they realise they are being stupid - no need to tell them.
  16. Pass your test and get a bike that doesn't sound like an angry bee trapped in a bottle!
  17. I think we need a roadtrip to classickid's house!
  18. I just ordered one out of curiosity. Put in the comments section to send the commission your way
  19. Cheers. Only need it for three devices, USB charger, GPS tracker and powercommander autotune. It's small enough to fit under the seat with the battery - not much free space on my bike! Also the LED battery monitor doubles up as a charge port for the maintenance charger, so now I only need this one device connected to the battery which will clean up the wiring loads.
  20. That's like my version two model
  21. In an effort to clean up my dodgy wiring, I decided to build a power distribution box. So tonight I powered up the soldering iron and built this! It a box that's wired to the battery and a switched live such as the numberplate light. It contains a relay to keep the switched power separate from the load. It also has an LED battery monitor that can dangle outside the bike to give a visual indication of battery status. Waiting for some three way plugs to arrive so I can have one plug that's for both a permanent and switch live.
  22. So if your bike hadn't moved, the noise wasn't your bike.
  23. bet it could make some quality moonshine!
  24. Did he ever check in to say he'd returned??
  25. Off topic, but we used to record no sound for 2mins, then the noise of a baby screaming or some other annoying noise, take the CD into Dixons and put it into one of the CD players, crank it to full volume, walk away... 2mins later WAAAAAA Wahhhhaaaa... fun and games I like going in to those stores and pairing my phone up then crank the volume walk away then press play the modern equivalent - like it
