  1. Laces = NO! They get stuck in your chains and get tangled in foot pegs and brakes...
  2. Anything called "shoes" is rubbish on a bike. You need something with "boots" in its name
  3. stand on the foot peg of the way you want to go? Start from 2mins 10 ">
  4. Uh oh.... Here comes a loaded question... How exactly do you push the bike back down???
  5. Went shopping for a pram and baby seat today. Discovered that young teenage lads are the absolute worst people for mothercare to employ as pram/carseat salespeople as they have no clue about babies or cars as they have neither!! Ended up telling one of the two lads who were trying to serve me to go and ask his manager a question and then when she came over I ignored the lads and dealt with her directly. Young spotty teenage lads trying to sell carseat and pushchairs = FAIL.
  6. Just to add, since the bikes weight is about 50/50 split front/rear, but the tyre sizes are not equal, it's a good idea to keep positive throttle all the time you're leaned over to keep some of the weight transfered away from the smaller front to the larger rear tyre. Neutral throttle whilst cornering results in loading the smaller front tyre with the same forces as the larger rear tyre so can contribute towards the front wheel washing out.
  7. Lol, well I did consider it, but just had brand new wooden floor put in the hallway. Had visions of dropping it and making a huge dent in the wood!! Plus I wanted to see what was inside and save any of the good stuff to stash away in my garage that will come in handy probably never
  8. I can do anything I attempt to do, and that's the philosophy I'm raising my daughter with. She helps me out all the time with tools and is very helpful to have about when im holding something together and can't reach the tool i need to fasten it up.. she'll be four years old in February and I'm pretty sure she would have a better idea how to use that car jack than the useless idiot in that video. Last week I needed to dispose of a washing machine, it was too heavy to lift through the house and into the car on my own so between us we decided to dismantle it to make it easier to get to the tip. She had great fun with my tools - the hammer was her favourite.. a great father/daughter thing to do!
  9. Ffs, that explains it.. It's "men" like that who are putting up the price of our breakdown insurance... !
  10. dont get seen doing over 30mph on a 50cc bike else you'll be in big trouble... Take the plug out and look at the colour. with two strokes you can tell a lot from the sparkplug colour. my guess would be that its running lean and you have too much air getting in at low revs.

Exactly. So why are they doing it? I think it's because they feel they need to be seen to be doing something, because when the next big attack happens, they don't want people to say "why werent you monitoring them?". Trouble is that the next big terrorist attack is going to happen anyway, despite these laws. Terrorist activity wont be organised by email or conventional communications methods that the authorities will be monitoring, terrorists will use much more subtle ways... Just imagine if we were terrorists and we wanted to coordinate an attack. We could first download a multiplayer roulette game (there are thousands to chose from) to our phones and each of the numbers on the board could represent a different target or time to attack. We could communicate in plane site on a public roulette game simply by placing chips on numbers and nobody would be able to tell the difference between our terrorist activity and the other players in the game... Example: Chips placed on number 8 for buckingham palace, then on 5 and 1 for 5th January, then 12 and 30 for the time.... Red for suicide bomb, black for car bomb.... once complete, log off, uninstall the app, smash up the phone and throw it in the river... the authorities wouldnt stand a chance if i ever decided to activate my terrorist group.... (disclaimer, if the palace is bombed on 5th Jan at 12:30 - it wasnt me!!)

Nothing you do on a company computer is private yet many treat company equipment as their own. Nothing you do on a home computer is private either, yet again most believe it is. Unless you activity take steps to encrypt and secure your communications nothing you do in the electronic world is private. The trick is to balance the benefits you gain from using technology against the risks of having your communications intercepted. Innocent people don't generally know this, which is why many post their entire lives on social media. Criminals know the risks very well which is why they actively take steps to secure their communications. These new eavesdropping laws won't catch professional criminals who know exactly how to communicate in a way that can't be understood by anyone other than the intended recipients, so the new rules won't make much difference to national security imo.
  13. This one's had a bit of a redesign.. http://www.autoevolution.com/news/ducati-1199-panigale-powered-honda-grom-is-as-insane-as-it-gets-104732.html

Given the size of the building, 370mil for a complete renovation sounds cheap!! Queeny must be employing some dodgy cash in hand eastern Europeans to do the work as I can't imagine any London builder doing it for that price.
  15. Have you been messing with the mapping??
  16. Was intending to buy one to see what they are like. Ive bought a few Gps trackers and most have been good. If these can relay vehicle data in real-time, that would be cool. OBD2 port doesn't switch off with ignition so just be careful you don't drain your battery! ...i would worry about a tracker that's governed by ignition on feed to be truthful. The current tracker im using is wired to the battery and to the ignition. It's got power all the time but goes into standby mode. If the bike moves without the ignition coming on first it assumes the bike has been stolen and starts sending SOS messages. So having bother a permanent power supply and ignition switched supply is very useful.
  17. Been looking to get one for a while and see from your other posts you have mentioned them before Joeman. Where are you purchasing from ? Get mine from eBay. They generally come from China.
  18. Going to the gym may prolong your life, but only by the same amount of time you spend in the gym...
  19. how you getting on with the tracker? ive just bought another one to play with
  20. So every time we get in the car we have to dial the police and give them a running commentary on all the law breakers we share the roads with??

It's ok. It's not like we are ISIS supporters who spend our free time buildings BOMBS and chatting about TERRORIST attacks... Oh, have in just triggered their automated TERRORIST internet filter?? Big brother is watching....
  22. shutlines in car doors are designed to not trap fingers too badly, so it probably looks worse than it really is.
  23. Is the idle smooth or lumpy? If the idle screw makes no difference to tick over speed then it's likely a carb issue with the low speed jets. The dydno guy was probably only running high engine speeds so didn't notice. Check the rubber boots that connects to the air box to make sure they haven't popped out. Also if you can get hold of a infrared thermometer measure the exhaust header temperatures from cold to see if one cylinder is running colder than the others. Carb rebuild and balance with a new set of plugs should see you running fine.
  24. Took my CBT at 16years old. Like most young lads I was fearless so it didn't phase me at all jumping on a 50cc bike and mixing with the traffic. I think it you guys who did it later in life who are worriers
