  1. My local homebase store seems to have transformed from crappy overpriced decorating shop, to an place to go to buy all sorts of interesting tools, storage boxes and stuff you didn't know you needed at a bargain prices. Loads of hand written price tags like its closing down.. I popped in to buy a lightbuld a d walked out 60quid worse off having bought a load of stuff!! If all homebase stores have gone through the same transformation, then we'll worth popping in for a browse... I have my eye on a nice metal tool cabinet next.
  2. Welcome.. It's not restricted in the first place, it's just a slow 125cc bike. You can't de-restrict something that's not restricted!
  3. asked that and they replied with 'unfortunately we do not have the details of the claim. You will need to contact your insurers at the time'. And the previous insurer has confirmed there was no claim, so get that in writing, pass that letter to the new insurance company, problem solved!?
  4. Ask them to provide details of the claim.. location, nature of the claim, vehicle regs involved etc. If they can't prove it happened it didn't happen.
  5. If it ticks over its fine. Polished ports is a good thing!!
  6. Well said Gin. These people seem to popup trying to change the biking world, but have seemingly no actual biking knowledge or experience. If they were into bikes, I'd expect them to already be a forum member of this or another forum.
  7. Try third gear, or forth!
  8. Feel free to green name me though Moderator positions are only open to donators...... Haha you have to buy your way to power.... Are the mods related to Trump??
  9. So, is it ok to say "donate some cash or you're a #&*%"... Probably not... Lol
  10. Yep that's normally about right. One down on the front means faster acceleration but lower speed for the same engine revs. I'm a strong believer that most bikes leave the factory over-geared just to meet emissions and noise regulations. First thing anyone should do is drop a tooth of the front sprocket.
  11. Awesome bike...
  12. A bloke who worked for the railway commited a crime and got sentenced to death by electric chair. They strapped him in, flipped the switch and nothing happened. The executioner didn't understand and asked the railworker what was going on, he said.....
  13. The world needs freaks to make the rest of us look normal...
  14. I've already nearly bought a few kids motorbikes.. eBay is dangerous. Don't tell anyone but seeing how you ride my money's on yours Only if its an inappropriate/antisocial wheelie contest!

    Rice pudding

Rice pudding mixed up with lager in your belly... That's not going to sit too well....
  20. To gain maximum performance of the proofer I have you are supposed to tumble dry on a medium heat for 30 - 50 mins! Obviously if the textiles allow it of course So bit of a catch 22 there for me Hair dryer time!!
  21. Spot on. Licencing wouldn't help. Are the overstretched police going to stop dog walkers asking to see their licence? Of course not. And even if they did, and found the owner to not have a licence, what would they do? Impound the dog in the already overcrowded rescue centre? Or simply crush it like they do cars... My cat draws more blood from people than my dogs ever have or would. My cat should be on the dangerous dogs list.
  22. It's more about the type of owner than the breed. Irresponsible owners tend to have dangerous dogs. And the types of owners who favour the big aggressive types of dogs are often irresponsible types of people! So you have a big powerful dog in the hands of irresponsible owners... Not surprising things go wrong, and when they do go wrong the results are devastating.
  23. It's not the breeds, it's the owners and how the treat the dogs, and the press that like to make news of dog attacks only when it's a breed they deem to be dangerous. The dangerous dogs list is useless. It was just put in place by the then government so they could be seen to be doing something. This is an interesting article... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/2254479/Sausage-dogs-are-the-most-aggressive-dogs.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; So why aren't sausage dogs on the dangerous dogs list??
  24. We won't see him again. He's all talk and no action. Made his 2quid from YouTube adverts and now thinks he's rich!
  25. Oh dear, not another kid who can't ride trying to police the roads to make a few pence from YouTube videos... I really hope one of these types comes alongside my car one day and tries to tell me how to drive... That will be a video worth publishing!!
