  1. french...
  2. agree.
  3. same as tiggie and says but i'll add that the aquatex is more a light weight portable cover that you take with you to work or shops but the stormex is a home/longer term use. yea sometimes the outer tape can loose but the main part is still very good all the same. we have tried others but they really disont last as well.
  4. yeap i find it hit and miss which is why i joked about it, but some are ok with it. yep i know knutsford, very nice area. bloody posh and upper class thorns to discourage the lower class onks. you should cheerish it as a gift from your peers . the guy was hoping youd be buying a ott price bike not a pump , i would have given him a laugh and said its for the blow up.... i bet she was pleased, expensive equipment with lycra clad lads on show.... jokes aside at least they seemed decent kind hearted folks just to make sure she was ok . carrying pair of tyre bars, rubber tubes (easy now), and a emergency kit for you now.
  5. dont just put in male and female adaptors... your web browser my put you into explicit material!
  6. they are and not universal, depending on tech used. most of the budgets use basic blue tooth, so they are more universal but range and quality is hit and miss. you can use mesh tech (cardo and sena upper range models are the more trust worthy) which brings some benefits but they are quite costly. if its just for you and your partner the mesh is not that important. if you regulary ride in groups then yes but for best reasults try to bee all the same make. cardo has the better speakers and mics, and is actually water proof with a solid warranty, senas are mostly splash resistance and a hit and miss warranty claims
  7. looking more like it, just consider to measure the bike plus space (for his body) to move round and get to each side of the bike and above it, just incase he want to work on it while inside. cos your still gonna have to store or hind this thing when not in use and leavinf the bike inside as a long term storage is just helping the scum to take both off your hands at the same time. a used van might be a safe option but that adds costs of insurance, mot and tax etc you could treat the van as a second vehicle if that works for you?
  8. the old prongy ones , that remind me of cheap xmas light fittings especially out door ones. gs two pins they can be refered too. probably somewhere in web land that look like these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275749989238?var=577274310836&gbraid=0AAAAAB_7XZyAiFPgyi_gMxRR6mWwxBYOT&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338723872&toolid=20006&customid=I_zz90UcAAAAp74Ulnko5JUEGrQ1AAAAAA
  9. not necessary. many dealers stillhave networks or affiliation with the brand even after changes from being listed as official. , might be new excess stock rotation, ex demos or some other tie ins. the warranty is attached to the bike and the dealer will sort rhat out all the same. approved is just a more direct inline with but has to follow the code to the book and buy the set amount of bikes, tools and trainging that suzuki say should be sone which the cost is passed onto the customer. i said they are so many options especially with that bike. so if your unsure to trust a offical dealer then go through other options really then if thats the case then does it really matter which if tour only going to see them twice or three times if your low mileage user (for oil change and most likly a simple service?) until the warranty expires anyway with a new bike? some may say not....
  10. don't know but for me you could look for a nearly new /used sv650 from them or just a dealer/garage (many have connections in the networks all the same) loads of SVs about, dang cheaper and you can just take them to a trusted garage/mechanic of your choice for service afterwards anyway. you can still get screwed service through an authorised dealer.
  11. hi and welcome.
  12. as husoi say, there are loads of them about that come in different configurations and cost so youll have to really think it through what youll need it to do or take with it...box for tools, cabinet for kit to go in, roll forward wheel lock (help hold the boke upright) but id mount this to the floor. space for ramp, fuel, water, washing kit, tying points. other options is to convert a horse box if you know someone....a van but they can be more difficult to put a bike in depending on its configure.
  13. we have a givi rack with givi box for our cbf, think you can go up to nearly or just over 40lts. another make is shad, sw moto and a few others off the top of my head. now it maybe that if you try to chat with the manufacture directly they may have one that is made for a different model that is more popular but its not listed for yours? the only other option maybe panniers are available for it so id go for them and maybe have a roll bag tail pack when you need more.
  14. just fill the whole tyre with loads and loads of bottles of slime stuff...
  15. Oh dont worry she'll might get round to you sometime.
  16. Depends on how far. Day trip: puncture kit, tye wraps, very basic multi tool sockets, small sticky tape, visor cleaner. Loose change. Longer: rag chain cleaner and lube. A few more tools, few moore pennies .
  17. Helped by wide bars for extra leverage but also you're pushing the bars in the direction they want/need to go to turn (longitudinal) rather than the bearing down and turning from the top of the bars (acute/ horizontal). yep the indicators are a unique thing also odd arrangement of bolt sizes for components like wheel axles etc but thats who ever you ask to change the tyres problem. yes welcome to torque and capacity. Youll have to retrain your brain for this bike. Lower revs, Higher gears and less twisty wristy.
