  1. E5, as its an Old bike with carbs. as nick said but additional: again that is dependent on when and what your bike was designed to and made to do. what hardware (carb, injected) and/or software (various ecu and sensors capabilities) if applicable you have which will determine if and what it makes out of it...so if your ecu and sensors are modern enough they can adjust accordingly to whats going on in your engine. the E5 is simply a modern fuels version of a Super unleaded, more refined with extra additives made in smaller batches. where as the E10 has less synthetic additives, Massive batches with more renewable sources with the green label. they burn differently, so thats why some cars and bikes can react differently. just to bring up a similar thing in the car world between a mitsubishi evo and sub imprezas they generally had to run on super unleaded (otherwise they ran very poorly and got choked up) but funny enough depending on which brand of car you went for largely dictating the brand of fuel the car ran better again on, off memory i think it was imps on shell and evos on bp. my bike seems really happy on the coop/esso fuel. Less so the tesco stuff.
  2. I didn't discount it but their use cases are narrower for the average road user and their needs, much like track riding. The reason for the information in the post was for a new rider on the road...thats one of the best uses off the bat with broad uses while road riding so that would be the first recommendation. while gymhana is if you in london traffic (nicking bikes), a busy supermarket or pricking about a car park and trial if your off roading or hopping logs or boulders.
  3. The bmw C1, or the C Wonder if your a 44teeth fan. sidecars are more fun 🫨
  4. I dont like harleys prices let alone the other HD stuff that goes with it.
  5. as jrh says held, double skin a glove in a glove as to say but it wasnt much of a sales hit (especially gb) so it wasn't much of good at one or the other plus fairly expensive for what it was so few other manufacturers have taken the roll.
  6. Because once again the government forgets (fails to update its policies) that motorcycles are part of the transportation section and worthy of consideration unless its hoody yobs or crims giving a bad name...
  7. Hi. nice selection of bikes, obviously a honda fan boy.

  9. yes that might be a possible, Not made that bike for a good few years so good ones go for strong money. where are tou based?
  10. Not made that bike for a good few years! yes that might be a possible, but good ones good for strong money.
  11. Yeah the screw/nut has most likely threade or worn. Most common it will the a square nut, access will be from the side of the battery terminal with a bit of a lip so youll need to lift over or up with a pick (wood or plastic is best) or a magnet.
  12. If i was gonna get a cruiser id Prefer the Indian and Guzzi over the harleys myself.
  13. As yorky says Grom or scooters the other possible a moto guzzi v7 but finding one at that price might be a struggle. one thing is just do yourself and everyone a favour dont buy any Chinese brands... if your gonna ignore that last bit of advice, the better of the ones are benelli leoncino, either the 500 or the smaller one.
  14. Specs dont need additional kits, pretty much works in all conditions including fog. Most likely what bender said or emissions/noise monitoring is another possible.
  15. Yes also your age will particularly help dictate... no rush to aim for higher. i spent over 4 years on a 46hp 500 after jumping off a 150hp 1000 of over three years And was more than happy with it.
  16. Payback....
  17. As Gero said: see what works out cheaper and better for you, as a golden rule less you have to keep changing bikes the cheaper. 125 are generally cheaper to buy and run but they are (used) a mixed lottery of what condition and history a bike has. autos restrict so really if you want scooters, just go the A2 license. Wifey has 125 manual with 8bhp, after sorting gearing 70 on a flat is easy, my old bike was an A2 manual with 46bhp 110 easy with loads to spare at short stock gearing. 125 autos are easy to ride and quick off the mark but not as great hitting higher speeds unless your gonna be using it in the city below 50 alot they are less adept. and a2 bike on auto will be better.
  18. nope just stating the facts from a question . Hot grips are ring wired to the battery, if you were to add heated clothing from any brand you care to find suitable (keis) you will have to see if the bolts on the battery are long enough and have enough room to allow more fittings (does the seat push down and trap wires?) unless you want to add a extension piggy back system. Most of the time you will have JUST enough space and thread for the bikes needs, HG,HV and charger connection, any more and youll have to think of a less direct route attached on the battery.
  19. No point training in a environment that your not going to be on for the foreseeable future i.e the track, nor with a fully track rider. best with people in the environment, with the skills for that environment i.e ima, roadcraft, police.....they will be more helpful to you skill wise and mentally geared to help confidence.
  20. You options are restricted, A2 bike and endure that for a few years. not slow nor crap if you get the right bike even with a lower top power cap, torque is friend so Stick to twin cylinder engines.
  21. Just be careful what you watch and who you trust to follow instructions of, not all agree with methods of individuals.
  22. Oxford hot grips, on the bike all the time. Find gloves to fit and design with heated elements are a huge compromise in every way possible, batteries to weigh down and find placment, go flat, charge the things, cellss die, wires to break, high price, not for me.
  23. Yes as
