Insired by a few of you planning rideouts for next year.............talk about wishing my life away!! :oops:


Would be good to get some feedback on my little proposition..


My other half lives just south of Carlisle, LOADS of room for camping, huge party 'shed', bar etc :D :D :D


If anyone fancies the trip up (down or sideways) for an overnight here n a bit of a party 8-)


Would then be an excellent base for N Lakes / Borders.


Or even across border n maybe up to Glencoe - superb, bike-friendly campsite with fantastic pub :wink: at top of Glencoe.


What do you think???????


Would be more than happy to play 'host' - (not discussed this with 'him' yet but I have my ways of persuasion :lol: :lol:)


Could be an overnight or a full weekend and a good way for those of you, just that bit too far away, to sample True North.


Anybody interested???



PS...Frankie, if this takes off .........could do with a wee bit o help :shock:



PPS......Of course any mebers form north of border (do we have any????) also welcome :D

Best weather in recent years seems to be early, but May..ish prob soonest for comfy camping :roll:


Will 'poll' for most popular dates closer to time then try n 2nd guess the weather

Would be best for everyone to meet up here - Dalston, Cumbria.

Most likely folk would arrange mini meets and come in convoy ....unless only one taker :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Then we can spend Saturday getting there, Sunday on a ride, and Monday picking up the pieces

Sounds like a great plan,subject to a confirmed date i'm in :D the Northwest posse could arrange a meeting point say around Preston area and ride up together

I will be coming up from Bognor Regis on the South coast, I can imagine my brother from Aberdeen will meet us to so if theres anybody from the south coast who fancies it then we could race, i mean ride, up together

If im passed by then i would have been up for it ... but my other half is due in May so itll be out of bounds for me :(

Anyone on L's will be accommodated into the trip, no worries.


I will probs be in car with my 2 kids, if thats ok, they will be 13 and 16 then and are nae bother, but i understand if you rather not
