Bit of an update after my visit to The Miner's Standard today.


Camping charges are to be paid at the pub on arrival - £5 per person per night (not per tent)


Drinking own alcohol is allowed on the camping field only - NOT outside the pub or in the outside tabled area.


Breakfast can be booked for Saturday & Sunday morning but need to be booked & paid for by 9pm on previous evening


Apart from those things it seems all is on course for a good weekend! We've got the function room for the party on Saturday night.


The boss lady wants to make sure she has plenty of the right sort of alcohol. So if you would please use the poll to indicate whichever category/categories most apply to you, I'll hopefully be able to give her a bit of an idea. You ca vote for 3 things.


If you're a spirits drinker please can you list below - ta! :D

I ticked draugh cider as I don't often drink bottled due to it usually costing twice as much!! (If it wasn't I would)

Decent Red wine....not the vinegary stuff!

Although i might have to limit myself for the ride home the next day......not keen on riding home with a hangover lol :cheers:

I can't remember what proper beer they had!

They had at least 2 proper hand pulls!

Marston's I think ( nasty stuff :cheers: )
