Why would I want to do that?

We're borrowing a 'mansion tent' so I'll have my work cut out figuring out how it goes up!

if the weathers nice we can get the deckchairs out and sit around watching you put it up

I have to get my frame tent up first

me and the missus have it down to an art now though :)

I've already made it clear to Lou that if she wusses out and travels by any means with more than 2 wheels, she has to bring the tent with her and have it ready when I arrive

That is a definite possibility!

Having said that, you guys have a LONG way to come on 125s! I don't think anyone would think anything of you not riding up.

even my bike will be on a trailer

only because the tent is huge and no chance of luggage and the missus on my bike!

oh and I have to repair it first!!

We'll see how it goes Wollsy - if we do both bike it, it's prob gonna take us 10 hours to get there! :D Also, me put up a tent equates to booking a room at Travelodge!!

Moo - It should only take you just over 3 hours to get there from Cambridge (according to 'Tyre' with 'No-Motorways' selected).

8-)

We're off on the Friday....and will probably take a slowish bimble up there avoiding motorways....so if you are welcome to ride up with us if you want Lou & Ollie...... 8-)

Rideouts?......anyone broached the subject with TC yet.....seeing as he's back in the fold again.....

As previously mention - I have a 'Tag' rideout planned.

I assume TC will have his 'usual' slow/fast rideouts also planned.

I have no objections to anyone joining me (Sat morning 10:00am start).

No Al as far as I know TC has nothing planned!!

I'd organise something Stu.....but for how well I know the area we could all end up at Scotch Corner!!........

(the Scotch Corner bit is an "in" joke in my family........it seemed that whenever my Grandad gave anyone any directions to get anywhere in the country it always seemed to involve going via Scotch Corner!!)
