That's father & son right there - dad's 87' GL1200 and my R6. I don't think we could have more different tastes if we tried! :)

Though ask me the same question in 20 years, i`ll probably give you a different answer

is that because the R6 will be long gone and replaced with something better

I had an Goldwing and the ZX6r at the same time - I used both equally.

The ZX6r is great for a blast but doing Margate to Cambridge was best on the 'wing.

Neither....given the choice....but, if I really had to choose it would be the 'wing.....my knees and back wouldn't let me get far on the R6.....

This is true - my place is Cambs is somewhat smaller than my place in Margate was...

I'd ride the GL1200 down to the scrap metal merchants - the weight of that thing - you'd get a few quid for scrap

Just kidding, bet its good fun to ride

Wing for me! I've tried riding R6s before and they just don't get on with me, haha!

I love the old Goldwings, they remind me of a toy bike I had when I was a nipper so they have a special place in my heart. No contest for me.

Would have to be the GL1200 for me. Comfort first.

I probably couldn't get my feet high enough to get them on the pegs on the R6!

So it would have to be the wing! I prefer the 1500 or 1800 though!
