If it's planned well in advance then people might be able to cut cost and van share ect. Fuel cost to get there ? You have to work that out yourself. Van hire if you need it. ? Again I don't know but if there's 2 of you it's considerably cheaper. Withdraw my interest and keep to my usual rides instead I've got a lot of money going towards bike related activities next year actually, can't justify it right now, would love to one day though.
