Ive heard that one before.. they (they?) used to say exactly the same thing about the GS. what is it? whats it for?why does it look like an "off road" bike.. its too heavy. too slow. why.. what... its weird. Its got a shaft.. who ever heard of a shaft driven off roader? with road tyres too.. mad!! who on earth would buy one of them?To my mind the Versys is simpe to describe... its kawasakis take on the F650 and that bikes derivatives. its now in its 3rd incarnation.. and has been in continuous production for 9 years.. which I reckon speaks volumes.
