Had a 10 minute moan thrown at me for it. I used to get the same until she started going pillion instead of my helmet being stuck in cupboard our helmets have own space in lounge (unless guests are expected)...Previously my gear had to be out of sight, now provided all our biking gear stays on the chair in the hall she does not complain.. You don't go out and get a dog......they come to you.They turn up at your door and refuse to leave.......that's why we have four rescues here!We came with 3, went up to 6, down to 5, up to 6, then back down to 4.Spanish dogs search out Brits......and from thereon hate Spaniards with a vengeance.
