Does this tyre need replacing?

Ello, as the title says. I'm not too sure so thought I'd ask the experts . I noticed this on the tyre today and there's a few smaller marks that I'd describe as minor 'slits' in the tyre. They're much less substantial than what's shown in the pic.

Also what will cause these marks, what I'm riding over or could it be that I'm leaving the bike outside?

normally riding over sharp gravel

my tyres are full of scratches

Done a fair bit of gravel riding recently as it seems every road is left half finished. I just hope this doesn't need replacing

I don't know the wiggly bits purpose, but these tyres are cracking
