If not get a Haynes manual for the bike, they are worth their weight in saved workshop costs. Quote

fastbob Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Never used a torque wrench on rear axle nut....just a 12" spanner, adjusted to its "effin' tight" setting......just be sure the axle is level in the adjusters. I normally use a calliper gauge rather than rely on the marks cast into the chain adjusters, FWIW.... Quite so, a torque wrench can do more harm than good especially on a worn or greasy thread. Quote

megawatt Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 If you can get down to Hastings, I'll show you how to do it. Quote
Mr Fro Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 If you can get down to Hastings, I'll show you how to do it. Looking at the contents of the garage, hearing the accent and seeing the plate on the other bike, I think it's unlikely that he'll be popping to Hastings. Quote
raesewell Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 It wasn't his video it was one he found on Youtube with similar problems. Keep up lads Quote
SlowBusa Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Bikes with any power dont use chain links anymoreA 125 might? But I would be surprised if a 600 doesThey need to be ground off and riveted with a special tool Quote
