fastbob Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Use any known brand of pre-mix then you don't have to buy de- ionised water as well . Halfords etc. Quote
Philmorgs Posted April 10, 2018 Author Posted April 10, 2018 Cheers guys, don’t have a manual waiting on one in post! Quote
Stu Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Use any known brand of pre-mix then you don't have to buy de- ionised water as well . Halfords etc. I always find it false economy to buy premixed! With concentrate the mix ratio is probably best at 33% so you could go 10 litres of water to 5 litres of coolant which gives you 15 litres of coolant for a little more than what 5 litres of premixed would cost you. 5 litres of premixed is £20 = £4 a litre 5 litres of concentrate is £26 plus 10 litres of water £7 so £33 for 15 litres = £2.20 a litre even a 50/50 mix is £2.95 a litre Maybe its the Yorkshireman in me Quote

I never considered it from an economic point of view . I meant that you don't have to buy it rather than you don't have to pay for it . Good point though. Quote
Philmorgs Posted April 15, 2018 Author Posted April 15, 2018 Will this be ok, flushed system current coolant was green Used deionised water to flush all of the old coolant out so I’m assuming I’m good to go with the pink stuff?http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&langId=-1&categoryId=255224&productId=185166&storeId=10001 Quote
