It says in the UK motorbikers make up 1% of road users but we made up 20% of deaths on the road in 2016, but 40k people driving cages died in 2016 where as 319 motorbikers died

Quite often statistics quote killed and seriously injured together maybe that's what you saw?

That is scarily accurate

At least on a bike you are dressed (hopefully) to protect yourself. Wouldn't fancy walking to work in full leathers.
