once you use one you will realise its the way to go

Ask @Hoggs she has been converted :)

I had a sat nav in the car but Waze does everything better so gave the sat nav to a friend. Also the iPhone is with me anyway so it is easier to use it for navigation.

As a general rule a car sat nav is used to get from point A to point B usually via the fastest route

A bike sat nav is so much more than this .....compare waze to a bike sat nav on say a 10 day tour of Europe

That's why I use Scenic as well.

Zumo 660 on the bike. The garmin is ok but it's so clunky to use and the displayed image just looks like a 1980's computer game.

There's a cure for that. Buy one that wasn't designed more than 10 years ago. :thumb:

You should see snodblatters antique... It looks like it's running DOS.

256 colours on a TFT screen is enough for anyone..

I picked mine up for £50, plus £20 for a mount and another tenner on getting it wired up. But now I get to bask in RISC-related coolness 8-)

Mate has BMW navigator tour thing seems give directions to BMW dealers.

He likes them as they give away free coffee, he just does not realise while he is there they are emptying his wallet. Hence BMW Brake My Wallet.

I have Co pilot and not bothered installing it on my new phone.

The Tomtom Go all is great. You can plan routes on the computer, and they appear on your phone line magic.

Put it on winding route and see how many thatched cottages you can count...

Also does speed limits, fixed cameras and accident Black spots {read as mobile camera}.

Still use Google as it is better at searching for specific locations.. TomTom is not always good at finding pubs or museums etc.
