Hi [mention]gymwitch[/mention] , it's a CBR400rr. NC23, and it will have Hurricane written on bottom fairings, you can just make it out underneath r/h casings. Here's a picture of mine taken a few year's ago..

Would have sent better picture, but bloody laptop just broke again , just paid a fortune to get it fixed.

And as[mention]Stu[/mention] says turn engine over by hand first.

Mine had been stood for 8 years, had to strip down carb's to get it to run, and relay on fuel pump had broken.

Plug's are a bit of a pain to get to .

2. Announce publicly you have lost your tape measure as I am sure you will be inundated with questions lol.

Before you know it [mention]gymwitch[/mention] will be asking you to take it’s clothes off so she can have a good look .... I think this is known as ‘grooming’

as soon as you get it home gymwitch cover it with a bucket of soapy water and then when its dry spray it with mr sheen and buff up and then it will look the business

The offer of bench use was genuine although I have a suspicion I am too far away to be practical.

As an aside following the weekends unscheduled rear spindle incident Rex is on the bench till Tues evening but with the good weather happy to wheel stuff about to make room.

Well I'm gna get the bike insured this evening what you like for time on sunday as was thinking about maybe taking a ride down to pick up the tyre though if you would prefer can wait until it's all behind us
